How many partners have you had? (was: how polygamous are you??)

Me?? i have slept with nearly 10 women so far. sometimes for one - on - one sex and sometime in groups. Couples please cast 2 votes. you can include non-swinging encounters as well.

PS : i have no real "swinging" encounters or experience. But have been part of group sex (2/3 men and women each)

Polygamy is a marriage between multiple people, polygyny being between one man and multiple women and polyandry being between one woman and multiple men. So I'm unsure what you are asking here since sex with multiple partners over a lifetime does not equal being polygamous.

I have to admit I'm lost as well. Beyond the definition issue... are we talking sleeping with multiple people at the same time, separately since we've been swinging, or in my lifetime?

Oh well. I apologize for the wrong terms I used in the title.

What I meant to ask is how many persons of the opposite kind (i.e. sex) have people here slept with (including both swinging and non swinging encounters). For me it would be 9 women (i cant remember any more), which includes one-to-one sex with women in knew and the people i had fun with in groups.

@WesternSwing --- what then is the term for a man (woman) who has slept with many women (men)?

Would the moderators/admins please change the thread title to something more appropriate and meaningful?

How many "close encounters with the opposite kind" in life. I am pathetic in this regard with 9 !! (and no encounters with the same kind, since i am not bi)

Well, I doubt if it is over 100, probably more than 20 and less than 50, but I have to say I quit counting after 8 or 10, so I have no idea.

The title to the thread should be something like, "How sexually experienced are you". There isn't really any term for that, that I know of, promiscuous would be closest, but it is limited to casual sex, so I don't think it would work here.

If you're talking actual intercourse . . . then whoah, my number is way lower than I thought (10). Where I grew up, I'd be considered a slut, but for a lifestyler . . . I'm practically a prude!

There is only one man and no woman hwo has broken the 100 barrier. I knew a non-swinger (she was into one niters a lot) who touched a 100 by by the time she was 50. Come on everyone - this is an anonymous poll.

Keep in mind - the biggest part of your participating audience is married couples. We swing, sure, but we do have to stop and wash dishes now and then. I am not the least bit surprised by the poll results myself.

The other thing to keep in mind is how often we might swing with one couple...In this poll they would only count once...but over two years...we played with them a ton...having said that we are pretty easy....but still are not really close to a hundred...
