2 articles - 1 from fox news, one from our local station. Fox claims without wife consent, but our local channel has come back saying the "rapist" may not be guilty.

That really is appalling and I think that I would be devastated if my spouse were assaulted in such a way. Only thing I wonder, as a motive for the husband to set up such a plan, is if the wife had expressed any type of similar fantasy and the husband acted on it.

I usually enjoy keeping up on swinger-related news by looking at the threads in that forum, and I appreciate the members who post them there for us to read.

But I would hate for a new Board person to look at that story, or even the thread title, and think that the membership here considers that to be swinging in any way shape or form. I think we have to be careful not to give people an incorrect idea about us, even when we think it should be obvious. As far as I could tell, what happened in that story bore no relationship or similarity to swinging. The man arranged for someone to rape his wife (at least it looks that way), and he watched while it happened.

Perhaps we need a new forum for other news not related to swinging? Perhaps a "Strange / Weird News Stories"

I didn't post it because it was swinging related, but thought many on this board would want to read it, since it was related to a sexual fantasy, albeit absolutely outrageous and disgusting.

That's why I am such an advocate of swinging. People have fantasies - we all do. This - of course - is not one of mine.

But "rape fantasy" is real and something that couples do entertain. BUT - when one person imposes their fantasy on someone else it is rape, whether physical or emotional. When swinging works best, couples discuss their fantasies, toss out the ones that don't work for both and entertain the ones that do.

It should go without saying that this is sick and horribly abusive.

Journalism these days is usually fraught with errors, so I think it's safe to assume there's glaring errors in this story as well that we are not aware of.

Assuming the story is 100% accurate, the crime is absolutely disgusting, vile, repugnant, and the guy should be strung up by his balls, dropped into a vat of scalding hot water for just short enough of a time to prevent dying, then slowly filleted alive, without killing him. What's left should be left to rot in a deep, starving rat filled pit.

And those are my happier thoughts about this guy.

Perhaps while he is in prison his wife can find an inmate willing to return the favor! How could anyone enjoy terror in the face of someone that they love? Even if she did want something like this, the fact that she didn't know it was coming or have a safety word ready should be enough to lock up her husband.

Many women have a "rape" fantasy, I put it in quotes for the simple reason that, some are yes full blown rape others are variations on the theme. The second article says "it was HIS fantasy"...

But lets be clear, other than fantasy ROLE PLAY. this isnt one that can be safely brought to life. My lovely has had this fantasy for as long as we have been togehter.. It combines the surprise, being forced to have different types of sex, and a few variations, multiple men ECT.. But to do what the asshole did in the news reports.. his age and what he did to his wife tell three very important things.

The First, He doesnt understand the difference between safe sane consentual play..

The Second, By drawing in "some dude" from craigslist, its like dropping any concern for her health or his.. Or thier children and again drawing the conclusion from the article, and thier respective ages.... Just dumb doesnt cover it, Suppose the "play rapist" decided he wanted to take it further..

The third and really most important, why she MAY have shared a fantasy with him, Again, its a serious situation to attempt to do this without her consent, But C'mon, everyone understands where the lines are really SUPPOSED to be drawn.. He really doesnt CARE about her, or her feelings... Just his own sick enjoyment

But, while this is our snap judgement, there is NOTHING in the article, that says the wife was into it or shared a fantasy with him.. It does make me wonder what other things the Secret Service will find on his PC.

Former cops (payback for hypocrisy.)

Rapists (Why take something that can be easily purchased? For that matter, why take something that they can't have when millions of women are willing to give away for free? Until very recently, CL had a category called "Erotic Services". I'm guessing the husband posted an ad there.

CL is great for regular classifieds, but boy, it sure does have some funky shit on there as well.
