Marijuana and Sex

So, my dark secret is out...I'm a hedonist, a lush, I believe that more of a good thing is a great thing and that excess is a way of life. Now you know...Drat!!

So anyway, it was probably my third or fourth sexual encounter period when I discovered the majesty of Stoned Sex. The sensations seem almost duller and deeper (not better or worse, definitely different), and it always seems like that...innate connection that accompanies sex is clearer and more profound. These are just my observations, of course.

I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences/opinions with this or comments on the subject of intoxicated sex in general!!

I also have a deep dark secret.

I've never smoked bud in my life; unless you count the waft drifting from the back at that one ZZ Top concert 15 years ago. My drug of choice in my high school years was liquor and beer. My friends in high school tried to talk me into a little bowl, but I never was into that. Gimme a shot and a beer chaser. That was me.

I've seen many profiles that are 420 friendly, but I personally don't know anyone here who does it. Nor, have I been with anyone who was high (except on life).

I can't speak for Dave, but I think he could probably relate.

I guess there's nothing new about sex on the grass. I enjoyed it in my youth and then stopped for a long while because the costs of getting busted was more than I was willing to accept. The risks are now managable for me and I can enjoy it again.

I think pot and tantric sex were made for each other. It's not uncommon to share a few joints at a house party.

Just like any other mind altering substance, it needs to be used responsibly.

Most folks on this board know about my hippie days, the overland trip to India through Afghanistan and other hemp-friendly areas. Mrs. Alura had no bad habits, had never smoked anything and (get this) had never been drunk. My 29 years with her did not usually include drugs.

Now, at my age, it just ain't likely I'm going to walk up to a kid on a corner in North Tulsa and ask, "Hey, man! Got any weed?"

Ah, but how I remember the Isle of Wight, (Europe's answer to Woodstock) in 1969, and traveling on my Triumph motorcycle picking up hitchhiking hippie ladies and sharing a number and nookie under the stars.

Sex on pot takes a bit of getting used to, particularly the dry mouth, the munchies and the giggles right in the middle of the passion. Still, there is nothing quite like it, particularly if the lady is in a similar state of mind.

We haven't smoked pot for probably 10-12 years. I do remember smoking and having naked fun with my wife and I but it's been so long I don't remember how much it enhanced things. I do know when I smoke I tend to get out of synch with reality by just a small part of a second. Takes a moment to catch up to things. We only did it at home to avoid the driving part. Recently we were at a party where in the back room people were smoking, but I opted to keep a clear head...a few first encounters were waiting, plus driving later.

I (the female part of this couple) was considered a pot head in my younger years. But for me Marijuana made me very lazy and gave me the munchies big time and I didn't want to do anything, but lay around, munch and giggle...lol so for me Sex and Marijuana didn't mix well.

I kind of think I am/was alergic to it, maybe it was just side effects. I started when I was about 19. Quit when I was about 23 cause I couldn't handle the symptoms....

About 10 years later I discovered this white powder called "C".... now that led to some just plain crazy wild sex...sometimes lasting for days...

It was a nasty habit....it was consuming me and my bank account. Just before I quit in '92 I had just dropped $3,000. My new GF at the time, who was straight and clean told me, "It's me or the "C".... She's my wife now...she also got me to quit smoking cigs....Both I quit, cold turkey.

But if I could get a fun couple of days on the train again.....I would surly be tempted.

Those days are gone forever, Slevin. There was a book at the time, popular with hippies, named Europe on $5 a Day. Seems funny nowadays, doesn't it?

Definitely wouldn't be the same trip now, but I'd still love to do it anyway and see how much fun we could get into! I doubt we could pull it off for $5 a day though lol.

Not sure we've ever smoked with the goal of sex afterward. It's usually a "chill out" moment. I have to say smoking does leave me lazy, giggly, and hungry. Maybe if I tried it WITH the intention of sex......

Mr NC is currently job-hunting, so we won't be trying it anytime soon, but I'll let you know when we can try it out and post our results.

I'm not suggesting that anyone should go out and buy it, or smoke it. I'm not suggesting that it's healthy for you in any way, or that it's the most effective libido enhancer (female) on the market. I'm not even trying to imply that I've done it (because I haven't: Mr.Essex is a total drug virgin). I'm just saying this: I've never, ever, ever met a female pot smoker who could claim to have had unsatisfying sex. Out of 5 women that I've met in my lifetime who were habitual pot smokers (2 Asian, 1 Caribbean, 1 European and 1 Hindi/European), only the Caribbean woman would admit to not being especially arousable or orgasmic by smoking pot.

Once again: do not go out and buy some pot! I mean this. And if anyone decides to crack jokes about my endorsing the use of marijuana, I'll deny it as vehemently as the "Will they or won't they?", couple on a sitcom after they've been caught checking into a cheap motel at midnight.

It's been my experience that smoking weed does in fact enhance the sex.
Not unlike a few glasses of wine.

Weed never dulled my feelings, in fact....I've found that it makes things even more intense, as with anything..it's best done in moderation.
