As a general rule it's not something I enjoy at all, mostly because it's painful. I did have an experience a couple years ago where I was prescribed Ambien for sleeping (working nights was hard on me) and I had some really weird side effects. Usually about a half hour after taking I would end up being so extremely aroused that I would do anything and I had the most wonderful anal experience where I just couldn't get enough (it also made me hallucinate thinking I was having an orgy). I'm so glad to have had one really good anal experience so I can really understand why some women enjoy it as much as they do.

Not a turn-off, per se, but the payoff isn't worth the investment in time. If I meet a partner who likes anal sex (and has had enough anal sex to make it relatively pain-free), then I'll do it to make her happy.
