C = D * pi

D = C / pi

D = 5.5 inch / 3.14159

D = 1.75 inch

Now go find an architect’s scale, ruler or cloth measuring tape and compare his diameter and circumference to yours. My wrist isn't that big around.

Thank you for stating this. I was thinking the same thing, while doing math in my head, and my first thought was "I don't think so!!!".

I can honestly say, leave algebra behind, and stating the length and width (girth) is just fine, in inches. Beyond that, I don't need radius, circumference, or anything that involves PI!
