I totally agree on that late night chore but it is awesome! After changing sheets & mattress pads a few times we now put a bath towel under the bottom sheet when we make the bed. Sterile just means nothing is alive in it, no bacteria or viruses bouncing around. So yes urine is sterile and a waste product.

Now shit on the other hand is not sterile and has lots of bacteria in it from the gut. Still if you were to put it under high enough heat for a set period of time, it too can become sterile as the heat kills off the bacteria.

This pretty much sums it up for me too. MrsP didn't think she could, but much to her surprise she did once.
