I've always wondered why men want to have anal sex with a woman so much.

Now, I've been with women who really enjoy it and want it..., so sure.

And, the first time my wife offered it to me I felt it was a real gift and appreciated it.

But, the fact is for me, vaginal is better, by far. A vagina is self-lubricatin and just feels better overall.

So, ladies, if it isn't something you enjoy as much or more, aren't you taking one for the team?

And, guys, is it just because it's something different or taboo?

I just don't get it.

Some years ago I went through a period where I was really turned on by it but I guess the "new" wore off after a while. I'm not much into it anymore but sometimes when we are with our regular swap couple, mrsF will give it up to him as he gets all worked up about it. My wife and I have anal from time to time. It's just part of our retinue of options. I don't view anal/vaginal as being on some sort of sliding scale of pleasure, with one being better than the other. If I did that, I'd probably rarely want oral sex because vaginal sex makes me cum easier. You don't eat just one kind of food because it's your favorite dish.

Sex play has a zillion different options. They're all pleasurable, and for a variety of reasons. Anal is just one of them. I enjoy it. It's not my wife's favorite, but she does it because she knows I enjoy it and enjoys it because I do. She does take pleasure from it, but gets considerably more direct stimulation from other play. Some things I do for her aren't my favorite either, but vice versa applies as well.

Women have three cavities that are really good for inserting a penis into. Each has its own distinct feel. With oral, it's the tongue that works magic. With vaginal, it's the all encompassing warmth, wetness and loving intimacy that makes me want it almost all of the time.

For anal, it's the tighness of the sphincter and the fact that she can squeeze on me in a way that on other cavity can. Anal is a real treat occasionally.

Hmmm. I think you discount the pleasure a woman can receive during anal intercourse. I wouldn't say I enjoy it over vaginal intercourse, but I can say that when I manually stimulate my clitoris during anal sex, the orgasm is incredibly powerful. You asked the guys if they enjoyed the "taboo" feel of it. As a woman, I enjoy the taboo feel, as both a receiver and a "giver," so to speak. I enjoy allowing it because it is not the norm.

We don't do it very often, but sometimes, at the right time, it makes for the best time.

Well, I like it alot, mostly because it is "dirty," partly because it feels really good, and partly because I am an ass-man, and there are times when you just really want to do SOMETHING to a nice, round, firm butt. But between the potential dangers, the difficulty, the possibility of injury, etc. etc. I am surprised that some people do it often.

What I wonder is, if you do it a lot, does it lose its luster? Does it become more rare on its own as the kink wears off? Of course, I'm sure the kink doesn't wear off for some people.

We've never had any "messes", and take no preparations other than keeping lube nearby. It's never been an issue.

Ditto the last two posters. It's amazing how the body can prepare itself with the right foreplay. It's funny. I'm a huge believer in the power of lube, but I actually had anal sex with a partner recently without lube (at least the sort from a bottle). I was shocked to find that it didn't hurt.
