lubes=yeast infection, HELP!

Grape seed oil is all natural and can be purchase at just about any grocery store. It's clean with no sticky residue. There is no chemicals, I have been using this on ladies (including my) for years and never had or heard of any problems. If fact most ladies told me that it made them feel refresh and softens the skin, they also said that it makes a more pleasureable experience. Hell I use it on my dick when getting blow jods and it feels great. It has a pleasant natural smell and natural sweet taste. It is very easy to clean up with just plain water and wash cloth or leave it on to soften the skin. Since we been using grape seed oil she don't have the feminine odor or itch any more. We started using grape seed oil because my girlfriend is just about allergic to most over the counter lubes including K Y. Not saying that it will work for eveyone but it did work for us and many others that we know. Try it, hell if it don't work you can always wash it off.

While in Germany we bought this awesome lube called eros I believe.It lasted over a year and it's silicone based. Gives it a silky smooth sensation, mrs loves it everywhere it gets.
Anyway, we run out, tried a few other water based ones and hated them all - cooling/ warming/ basic, they're all lame so we got another one yesterday Kamasutra- a silicone based one and we're back in business as usual. Mind you we did get an yeast infection from all the water based ones too.
Since we only got the silicone based lube yesterday, we only used it a couple of times so far and it's awesome, but if that changes, I'll keep you posted

Keep an eye (or nose) on it, silicone lubes are notorious for causing the dreaded "stinky puss". So if you notice that she starts smelling unpleasant down there, it is most likely the silicone lube that is causing it.

When we started swinging, my wife had yeast infections after almost every new partner. With condoms, without condons, with lube, without lube. No difference.

Then we went overseas for a year. No new partners and no yeast infections. Draw your own conclusions.

I agree with the folks who rave about Eros and Wet. Both are great, especially Wet if you are doing in the pool. However, both get gummy after a while, although a little water sprinkled on will pretty much solve that, as it will with Astroglide.

We now use only mineral oil. There is absolutely no drying out, but it is bad for condoms (which we don't use any more, anyway). All other partners say they like it and they have no after effects.

My wife has a yeast infection everytime our small group gets together. It discourages her to play and our sex suffers. She has tried everything listed above. Yogurt, different lubes, and oils. I think much of it is related to her being somewhat dry and this results in friction then the yeast infection. Believe me it's miserable for her.
We have even went as far as asking one of her play partners to change bath soap from Irish Spring to something else.

Have you spoken to a Dr about this? sometimes other conditions and medications can make people more susceptable to yeast infections by altering body chemistry etc.

an ex of mine had some imbalance (like an iron deficiency, or vitamin deficiency or something i can't remember which hormone/nutrient it was), and she also suffered similarly to your wife from the sounds of it. basically meant the smallest environmental change (say a week of humid weather) would trigger a yeast infection. Dr treated the imbalance issue, and to her surprise, she had a drastic reduction in the frequency of the infections.

i like the foam called thermopause. i also get infections easily. i can find it in some grocery stores but not like walmart. its white and purple.
