How often do you have sex?

We are a fairly new couple to this. Curious as to how often you all are having sex with your partner on a weekly basis? We have an incredible sexual relationship, and are concerned that swinging may distract from the current relationship we have, if our focus becomes too involved with this "lifestyle".....your thoughts.....

Hi and welcome. I know there was a thread/poll on this before, but I'm feeling too lazy to try and look it up.

For us, it varies. Sometimes it's 7-8, others we're lucky if it's once. My honey travels a lot with his job.

It's great that ya'll are happy with your current sex lives. If you didn't, then most of us here would caution you against swinging. And you don't have to become any more involved with this lifestyle/hobby than you want to.

I highly recommend checking out the "New to Swinging" forum, which has several threads that address these concerns.

In our case, swinging has added to, not detracted from, our relationship. We communicate so much more often and so much better than we used to. We're more confident in ourselves, and feel so much closer to each other.

Hm, three times yesterday...two times the day before....we average at least 15 times per week...morning, night, and lunch specials on Thursdays!

Somewhere in a different post I explained that for us, swinging is like an erotic toy...it has only expanded our pleasures, never hindered them.

But when we are together we can't keep our hands off each other.

We feel like the other's,it has open our communcation level.It also has enhanced our sex as well. As for how often we have sex,it's3 to 4 times a week,and it get's better ever time.

I think sometimes we had sex more when we didn't live together. It's too easy to take your time for granted when you have so much more of it. When we didn't have much time together we were jumping each others bones every chance we got. I think we are getting back to the point of having sex as often as we did back then, but I wouldn't say we are doing it more, but we do a lot more of the other stuff, the cuddling and just trying to spend quality time together.

But ... at least five times a week. We're fortunate that our kids are older, so those types of responsibilities don't interfere. And we go to bed early

To be honest, this is the part I am looking forward to the most. As much as I enjoy sex, there is nothing that can compare to a good cuddle.

We have sex just about every morning except for the ones when the alarm didn't go off. Sometimes I like to wake him with a blowjob. We have sex most evenings, I would find it hard to fall asleep without it.

I am sure that people who have a good sex life before they get seriously into swinging will wonder if swinging will decrease the sex between themselves because of the sex they are having with others.

Among the 100 or so swingers we know, I'm sure none of them have enough sex with swing partners to diminish the amount they have between themselves. Hardly any swing more than once a month or so. Since most of them are very active with each other between swinging encounters, that means that swinging accounts for a pretty small fraction of total times they have intercourse

For us, and for lots of other swingers we know, the sex with another partner makes us want even more sex with our own. That was especially true when we started, and it didn't change much as the years went on until recently. Now, after I have sex with another partner, I don't have the same overwhelming urge to bed my wife. I think that is partly because my wife is losing her delight in sex and partly because I can't do it two, or sometimes three, times in one day like I could years ago when we started in the lifestyle.

Bottom line: If you have a good relationship before you begin swinging, there is little chance that the amount of sex you have while swinging will adversely affect the amount of sex you have between swinging episodes. More likely, it will enhance your sex life.

For us, we usually have more sex the weeks before and after we go to a club or party. Otherwise it's every other day most of the time.

Let's see... a party last Friday night (ladies party... more guys than girls), Saturday, another party (Couples party)... sex between us Saturday morning in the shower before we trimmed up to go to the party, Monday morning... also in the shower before I left for work... Last night a sexy chocolate dice game... then sex... hmmm...

I loose track sometimes...

It has, as others have said, only enhanced our sex life since we started in the Lifestyle.

Well, being new I'll only post what has happened since we had our 'first swing'. Before we had our first it was usually 1-2 times a week. (We have 4 kids under the age of 8, sometimes there just isn't a lot of energy left over by the time we get them all to sleep.) In the two weeks since then it's been nearly every night, (about 12 times). I dunno, I'm thinking it just gave us a little revitalization.
