| Here to Stay | Maybe it is the medication you are on. Check with your doctor as they may be able to prescribe something else with less effect on you. I was diagnosed a year ago with type 2 and it has had no effect on my erections. Actually the wife is real happy as it finally gave me the motivation to drop 70 pounds. |

Although I'm female, so erections aren't a concern for me! I can't speak to your question, but I did want to mention that exercise can play a huge role in sexual response for diabetic men. Could you try adding some activity in your life? |

| Julie's Helper | Bignads, Talk to your Doc. I had a reaction to a combination of meds that gave me erectile problems. Viagra solved that, and got me off the meds! I still have a minor problem now and then, but a viagra does the trick. Oh, and if you get viagra, get the 100mg tabs and cut them in half. The price for each is about the same so you save some money! S

A woman likes to feel her man not necessarily inside her but feel he is close and loving. We use toys and the odd occasion when I am tired I take great pleasure in giving my wife pleasure with toys. Always as she cums she likes to hold me and feel me next to her, I think the big thing is communication. |

I'm thinking that your personality and charm are going to be the deciding factor in terms of how you play. The thing is, competition is decidedly fierce for single men, and as you suspect, you've got an extra challenge. My suggestion for you is to not have expectations about playing, but just go out to clubs with the intent of socializing and having a sexy time. If anything happens after that, it will be because of you, as a man, not because of your "package". Enjoy your life. |

The TV Commercials for Levitra and Cialis have gotten to the point they mention Diabetes as well as High blood Pressure.. I have type 2, and yes.. there have been times when despite everything else being revved up and ready to go, there was a Houston we have a problem coming from the launch pad.. The doc and I talked, and he started out with samples.. to see which one works better for me.. personnaly Cialis doesnt compare to Viagra.. and thankfully, the issue seems to be correcting itself as the levels are brought under more control.. |

| Fun and Pleasure Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 859 Location: SouthWest Status: Couple | Just tell people. We have had group experiences where a guy did nothing but use his mouth and fingers cuz he couldn't get it up. It was still fun. If you are daring, and wish for an erection at times, check this out. http://www.webmd.com/erectile-dysfun...tadil-treat-ed We also have played with guys who used that method of treating ED with success for them.

| Swingers Board Addict Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 216 Location: lady lake, fl | This question is only peripherally related to the other posts here, but those of you with diabetes may be able to answer it. In my swinging experience, I give oral to most of the woman I have contact with. I love the taste of the secretions, expecially after the woman comes. Absolutely the sweetest, most wonderful woman I ever had the pleasure of eating was diabetic. Her juices, in addition to being wonderfully sweet, were silvery and pearl-like in appearance. I didn't think at the time to ask her if she was so different from other women, and so special, because of the diabetes. That was nearly 15 years, and I still treaure that time with her. Can you tell me if there is a connection between the diabetes and the unusual secretions? Thanks. |

| mildly abnormal | To answer your first question, yes there are women who enjoy mutual masturbation and toys. There are often times when I wouldn't at all be disappointed if that was the only thing on the menu. I enjoy it with women, so why not with men. ![]()

| Active Member | ALL T2 diabetics should be asking their GP's or especially their endos about a new medication called Byetta. With most prescribed meds (metformin/sulfonyrea) side effects are weight gain. Byetta is the ONLY med who's side effect is weight loss. Additionally posters on diabetic blogs claim prior ED issues disappeared. Nausea if it occurs is usually transient and diminishes in a week or two. Problem is most GP's or PA's are idiots and only prescribe the oral therapies. Byetta is a twice a day injection, not via syringe however, but a disposable pen which holds 30 injections. Needle is so small you will not feel the injection, which is generally done in the fatty area of the stomach 30 minutes prior to eating. Company has a ONCE A WEEK version that should be on the market in late 2009. Just think...ONCE A WEEK and no pills and great numbers with weight loss! It is self regulating...mechanism of action shuts off when sugar level is low. No need for finger sticks. Majority of patients attain FDA recommended <7% or lower. The weight loss improves your cardiovascular profile, which means a healthier heart. Additionally, there is evidence that suggests Byetta may regenerate the beta cells in the pancreas, meaning your burnt out insullin producing cells begin to once again produce insulin. Allowing the body to do what it was meant to do...regulate your sugar. Just my 2 cents, but this medication is changing the paradigm in how diabetes is treated. I know 3 people on Byetta and they have lost between 20 - 70 lbs. It has changed their lives. Scott & JoAnn PS...Additional information can be found in a new book by David Mendosa, 'Losing Weight'. It is a positive and easily read book. Byetta while not a weight loss medication per se has resulted in weight loss while helping many people to gain control over their diabetes. Mendosa's book mentions that there are those who have been on Byetta for a period of time and have stopped using ALL of their other meds. Last edited by Scott & JoAnn : 02-19-2008 at 12:04 AM. |
