Not bad, just distinctly different. We've been checked for STD's and are clean, no yeast, etc. so it's none of that; it's just that I don't smell the same. After a week or so I go back to my old scent. My husband notices it too. Does this happen to anyone else? At first it worried me but now I'm wondering if it's common. Thanks! |

I don't think Mrs. WS smells any different other than the distinct scent of condom that hangs around for a day or two. But I'll pay more attention to that and get back with you after our next encounter. ![]() Mr. WS

My scent was not bad, just different, and I always associated it to the man I had been with. After 2 years, I'm not noticing it so much. |

It's likely not a problem unless you find it unpleasant. In the latter case, you can bath afterwards using one of the "crystal" hygiene products all over. These odd solid nearly transparent crystal products have a tremendous ability to suppress smells coming from normal bacterial processes. During 30 years of practice, several couples said I "saved their marriages" by making them aware of those products and getting one of the pair to use the crystal. Some folks have an odd body chemistry that generates less than pleasant smells despite being squeaky clean and perfumed. |

It's not a condom smell, more like the ph balance of my vagina is different...and I've been with my partner for 15 years so wouldn't have a clue if it was different when I first started having sex with him as opposed to other guys at that time (I was younger and could have cared less). The crystal is a good idea to try and I will look for one and see if it helps. I really appreciate the replies and truly like the depth of this board. I don't have as much time as I'd like to spend on it (isn't that always the way) but definitely want to spend more. Have fun all! ![]() |
