Is this suppose to give her a particular sensation? If so what does it fell like? I've seen it happen at some lifestyle clubs and didn't what to interrupt anyone to ask. What are some of the other foods that are good to use. We've tried some and would like to learn of others. |

Our suspicion though as the fruit is acidic it would burn a little or better yet some tingle. Course we love the taste of limes... ![]()

The only time that it may cause problems is if you have tiny abrasions that can make the acidic juice come in contact with blood. As far as making your tongue itch it is because the mouth is suppose to be alkaline when in optimum health(ph 7). There has been studies showing lemon juice can kill hiv and sperm when it is administered into the vagina. Here is more info:http://www.aids.net.au/lemons-news-20060524.htm Acidic environment Dr Mwethera says preliminary research findings in animals confirm that lemon juice can be effective against HIV infection and pregnancy. He observes that when they administered neat lemon juice into a baboon’s vagina, it "killed the HIV virus" and sperms deposited by the male baboon. Dr Gichuhi Mwethera, who has patented UniPron, a microbicide. Dr Mwethera explains that the science behind lemon juice is simple. Lemon juice is very acidic, with a pH level of about 2. The HIV virus and sperms cannot survive within an acidic environment. The optimum pH for survival of HIV virus and sperms is between 7.2 and 7.4. Lemon juice simply makes the vagina too acidic. As I read more the article states that using lemon juice in concentration of 50% or more can harm the cells in the vagina BUT to me it seems that's because you are using a HIGH CONCENTRATION and not the juice straight from the lemon in a benign dose because from what has been shown all it takes is 3ml of lemon juice to protect the vagina and a lemon may have 50ml of juice. There is also another gel beiing made using this theory of keeping the ph of the vagina acidic to prevent std's and pregnancy cal buffergel. http://www.jhu.edu/news_info/news/ho...n02/germs.html "BufferGel simply reinforces the mild acidity that occurs in the vagina naturally," says developer Richard Cone, professor of biophysics in Hopkins' Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. "The normal acidity levels in the vagina can readily kill sperm and many of the germs that cause sexually transmitted infections," explains Cone, who is also managing director of ReProtect. "That's why your stomach's contents are acidic. Most germs just don't survive long in acidic environments." Here's a study done on its effectiveness:http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/q..._uids=11176265 Phase 1 trial of the topical microbicide BufferGel: safety results from four international sites. van De Wijgert J, Fullem A, Kelly C, Mehendale S, Rugpao S, Kumwenda N, Chirenje Z, Joshi S, Taha T, Padian N, Bollinger R, Nelson K. University of Zimbabwe-University of California San Francisco Women's Health Program, Harare, Zimbabwe. jvandewijgert@popcouncil.org AIM: To evaluate the safety of BufferGel (ReProtect LLC, Baltimore, MD), a spermicidal microbicide that acidifies semen and maintains the protective acidity of the vagina, in a high-dose tolerance trial. METHODS: HIV/STD negative, sexually abstinent, and sexually active women in India, Thailand, Malawi, and Zimbabwe were asked to insert one applicator ( approximately 5 ml) of BufferGel vaginally twice per day for 14 days. Sexually active women agreed to have sex (while using BufferGel and nonlubricated condoms) at least twice per week. RESULTS: In total, 98 women (30 sexually abstinent and 68 sexually active) were enrolled. Overall compliance with product use was 93%. Epithelial abnormalities detected by pelvic examination or colposcopy were uncommon (8 cases in 271 examinations). Irritation was reported by approximately one quarter of the women (0.58 events per woman-week) but was generally mild and of short duration. The prevalence of bacterial vaginosis (BV) fell significantly, from 30% at enrollment to 6% at one week, and 7% at two weeks of BufferGel use. Thirty-two women acquired microscopically detectable yeast during BufferGel exposure, but only 3 developed symptomatic vaginitis. CONCLUSION: BufferGel appears to be safe and well tolerated by the cervicovaginal epithelium. Its effect on BV and yeasts merits further study. Last edited by lott : 05-28-2006 at 08:57 PM. |

Likewise, a woman's vagina contains similar "ammonia related compounds" which are responsible for it's unique smell. Many feminine hygiene products contain vinegar (a form of acetic acid similar to citric acid) which reacts with those compounds to form salts in the manner described above. In other words, it kills the smell without killing the taste. Ahh, the things one can learn from dating a Professor of Chemistry...

Just to add to the citris, as stated above it is used on fish to remove the odor, but it is also used in seafoods to kill the bad bacteria associated with it. Usually in shelled seafoods. Raw Clams, oysters, snails, urchins, etc. should always be doused with lemmon juice.

That was an unintentional way to translate what cannot be translated by making up a new word from the scratch. My born languaje is Spanish. There should be no more than 10 words in spanish where the "k" is used. Tequila is written with "q", as all the silabes that sounds like "ke" or "ki" in spanish: "que" or "qui". Even if you were having a doubt on how to spell a word with one of these silabes, using the "q" would be right for sure, or at least would be just correct enough. There's no way for anyone whose born language is Spanish to spell Tequila the way I just did. But I had my mind flipped to "English mode" and the "q" just didn't pop up as an option while writting it... and I invented a new word! Tequila isn't spelled that way just in some bottle lablel. It is spelled that way EVERYWHERE, including the Spanish Real Academy Dictionary. If you read somewhere the word "Tekila", you can deem the writter as a brute and illiterate. And that's me! And I agree, Cuervo is the best.

By the way, this reminds me that here people make a gross asociation between the women genitalia scent and the fish one (and a dirty one smell like fish). Perhaps all this lime thing was meant to cook it? ![]()
