Am I the only one who has never measured mine? Never thought of measuring the girth.......I'd like to think I'm an average guy but now I'm afraid to get out the ruler.

You sure can. The easiest way is to wrap a piece of string around your Johnson (at its thickest part) and then determine the length of the string which fit (using a ruler).

If you want to get super elaborate, you can go to a site which sells custom fit condoms and utilize their 'fit kit'. Apparently, Johnsons come in 55 different sizes.

OK, curiousity got the best of me so I had to measure. 5 and a half around, is that good? My wife thinks I'm big but I always thought I was average. 6 and a half long too....

The "studies" say that the average girth is 4.75- 5 inches so you are lucky.

You have to keep in mind that not everyone will answer - not out of fear, but out of disinterest. Like myself... I have been told that I am rather generous in the girth department, but don't see much point in voting.

So - your poll will be less than scientific.

As for the "average" that will likely be skewed as well. You are asking men to vote their length - which is like asking a woman to vote her weight

Faulty measuring methods, a slight "fib" here or there, someone not knowing what the word "girth" means and therefore putting in a measurement for the Volvo's glove box... Etc...

The other thing I have noticed is that it seems that the average penis size - length and girth - in the lifestyle is probably a little higher than the "normal" average because comfort in swinging for men - just like for women - has a lot to do with having a fairly good body image. Sure - there are exceptions - but my guess is that most men who are uncomfortable with their size aren't going to venture out much.

So, in my opinion, fear is unlikely to be an issue in the results of this poll.

I agree with Spoo and would also add that I would bet that not a lot of guys have measured their girth, I know I haven't. Funny thing is, when I get a good woody the last thing on my mind is "better whip out a ruler".

Yep, a lot of woman like a girthy dick. But not all can handle them.

I'm one of them.

For this reason I'm more comfortable with someone under 5.75 inches around.

A man never knows if he's going to feel as good to another woman as he does to his wife...unless the "other woman" has had experience trying out various sized men.
