How long do your sex sessions usually last?

Hello fellow members. With the honesty I witness from most of what I read here I would like to ask a question of all of you.
It seems that any time you read about sexual encounters they are all marathon sessions. Now maybe I am missing something but I suspect that the average sexual session is over shortly after it starts. We do plan out times that involve a lot of foreplay of different kinds and can actally tie up most of our evening, but we also have plenty of sneaky quicky sex also.
So here is the question, are we the only couple that has sex that can be fit in during the movie commercials.

Hello.

I'm not sure if you're talking only about sex with your spouse, other couples, or both. So I'll answer for each scenario.

Sex between J and I is usually on the spur of the moment, rarely planned, and while we couldn't fit it within the time frame of a few commercials, it's rarely the marathon session you alluded to. Simply put, we're just too tired. Both of us work 11 hour days, her with her daycare, and me with my car rental job, which has got to be one of the more stressful and harried businesses out there. Try being responsible for a fleet of 130+ vehicles, and you'll see what I mean.

With other couples, it's obviously more planned for and therefore more time is set aside specifically for that purpose. We too, read of many spur of the moment swing sessions with others, but to be honest about it, I can't envision too many opportunities for spontaneous sex with others, outside of the bar/function scene. Perhaps others in here have more luck in that area.

Sorry about not being a little more specific but I was just refering to the private time that is spent between a dedicated couple. Oh and the comment about doing it during a commercial was just a little bit of humor but still refers to what I consider to be a little more realistic, and if you add hands and knees to the equation it can get even quicker. [Sad]

Our loving sessions sound very similar to yours. Someone (sorry don't remember who it was, think it was Walrus) mentioned in another post how after you have gotten to know what the "go" buttons are for the other, the element of the unkown is gone. As a rule depending on our time that we have it is generally "like" a commercial break length. [LOL]

When we have more time I wouldn't call it a marathon, but we do tend to make love until the next commercial break... [LOL]

Seriously, we rarely have all night marathons. We did when we first started dating and sometimes they ran thru half of the next day. (with breaks inbetween for breakfast, lunch or dinner). We then went thru a lull for a while until the idea of swinging came up and our sex life perked back up. Not to the extent of marathons with each other tho.

We were afraid that maybe we were the only ones that thought a 15 minute quicky sounded like a long time.
We have done it everywhere at everytime of the day in every posistion emaginable, so the sessions do not last as long as they did in our younger days. I will say that it is one of the reasons swinging sounds good to us also.

Plus, like Walrus mentioned previously, you get to the point where you know exactly where those hot buttons are to move things along a little quicker.

I guess that Ted and are differnt than everyone else, but then our lives are a little bit different. Ted travels with his job usually Monday thur Friday. So, when he is home on the weekends we do have marathon sessions

. We let nothing interfer with our time together since it is so short.

We will usually start playing around 9 or 10 and will not turn out the lights until 2 or 3 in the morning. Even during football season, when we run the concession stand at the high school games, and don't make it home until 11 or 12, we still have our marathons, there have been numerous times we have seen the sun come up.

This is not to say that we don't have quickies, lol, we do, but they are very few and far between. It might be different if we both had a 9-5, no traveling involved, type of job, but then again, it might not as I think we both have become addicted to the long sessions.

We cover both ends of this spectrum.

There are many "quickies" that would actually fit in a commercial break LOL, but also many weekend sessions that only "break" to eat, shower, and feed.

Depends on the situation. Can we do it 8 times in a few hours like we did 10 years ago? HELLL NO! Can we enjoy each other sexually for hours at a time? HELLL YES! [Wink]

This is perfect! I was just talking with the wife last night during are walk about this. I felt that are quickys were well to quick. To give you any idea are code word for quickys is "do you have five". When we watch these pornos they go forever. And I hear woman say they love when there man makes love to them for hours. We have long sessions as well. But the quickys are the most comman for us. its nice to know its just not me.

I am with you when it comes to quickies. Most of my life was spent with a wham bam thank you mamm and I have no complaint about this method. When I got back to the dorm, there was plenty of time to bring myself off. It got even better when my roommate and I found out that there was a mutual attraction so, where it had been me and my finger but now was me and her mouth and her and my tongue.

I also found that I rarely had orgasms when I was out on dates. That is not to say that it didn't feel good going in and out but it was not mind blowing like other's described in their posts.

I had no sisters to talk to about this and I sure wasn't going to ask my brothers. LOL
