How Slutty is slutty?

Everyone has an opinion of what they particularly consider to be Slutty behavior. I think we are all, in general, a very open minded group... but I want to know how slutty is slutty to most swingers? What things do you particularly think push it over the line, or do you really think to each his own? Is there any activity you have seen or been a part of that made you judge someone or yourself as slutty?

As far as the swinging world, I really think to each his own, I can't think of anything that I have seen or done that I now consider slutty...liberating and fun is the way I look at it now.

The vanilla world is different and when I was a totally vanilla person (goodness I hardly remember what that was like

)...I would have definitely have thought that anyone , man or woman, who had sex with more than one person at a time was slutty.

I'm interested to see what others think of this.

At first I thought I was pretty slutty to have fantasies of swinging and then actually acting them out. I had always thought of someone who had sex for the fun of it and not as an expression of love was a slutty person. But the funny thing now is that I don't think of the word "slutty" as a bad thing. In fact I enjoy asking my husband how he feels now that his wife is a little slutty and he says he just loves when I talk dirty like that

I don't think I've had a chance to be too slutty yet...but I'm working on it.

I think being slutty is more than just WHAT you do. I think it has as much to do with HOW you present what you do. My choice of when and how to be slutty is very important to me.

Example: If someone asked me, "Would you give three guys head in the back seat of a car?"

I'd have to answer, It depends.

If the guys are virtual strangers, no way!

If I know the guys well enough to trust them, and feel they know and respect me, then I'd say bring 'em on!

I thought "Slutty" was only a bad word in the "Vanilla" world.

As mrs Naughty puts it, "I may enjoy being a slut, but there is a time & a place."

I was a teenager in the late 90's and was considered by some to be a slut. Now, I embrace it.

For me, it is more of an attitude and not so much the actions. My husband loves the fact that some people think that because I have piercings that I am a slut or because I am young. I feel sexy and in charge when I am open minded to all ideas while swinging. One of the only things that I consider to be sluttish, is when people walk around the club talking to people, completely naked.

For me slutty is an attitude and appearnce that has nothing to do with behavior. The vanilla world slut is the swinging world average woman/man. Perhaps the wide spread reference to oneself and partner as slut in the lifestyle has completely taken the sting and negative meaning out of the term for us. Most lifestylers are proud of "being sluts" and by the looks of these responses those who aren't yet ARE SURE WORKING ON IT- being sluts not being proud but if you're working on both so be it

I'm surprised that the word "Slutty" has negative conotations in this community. Isn't "slutty" a word used by the outside world to describe all of us?

The funny thing is, I have heard women in my local swing community deride each other for their swing habits. The occasional players often seem to get catty about the regular players. I have heard women, which I have seen do some amazing group feats on occasion, tear apart other women because they go to the club every weekend and do it on a regular basis. I’ve heard comments like, “She has no class, she’ll f*ck anyone,” to “she is always here, doesn’t she spend anytime with her kids?”

So, while we think the swing community is devoid of judgment, I for one know this is not true.
