My bride-to-be & I didn't want kids, and even more we didn't want condoms or other birth control. I was vasectomized about 2 weeks before my wedding (yeah, it was pretty late in the process). Doc told me the same thing: effectiveness won't kick in until x number of orgasms.

I wanted to masturbate all day until I reached that number. However, my intended didn't like that idea. She wanted to take care of that important duty herself. I can still fondly recall her favorite way of 'assisting' me: wrapping her full soft breasts around my still-tender member and making herself a pearl necklace. I guess I do have some wonderful memories from my marriage, after all.

My sympathies and my respect to all the fellows who 'make the cut'!

From what I understand, the procedure done on me was fairly new. It's called the "scalpeless technique." Doc didn't make any incision, just basically poked a hole in the center of the sack about an eigth of an inch long. The worst part was the pain killing shots (5 of 'em) in 3 places in the sack. He told me that he normally didn't close the hole with stitches or staples or anything, but let it heal on it's own. However, I insisted that he at least put one stitch in it, so he did.

I have had basically no problems in the first day. No pain what so ever. There is a dull ache, but no real pain. For you guys that took weeks to heal and had to wear the jock for that long, I'm assuming that your doctor didn't do this same kind of technique on you. At least I hope this is the case. I'm not looking forward to 2-3 weeks of healing especially since I'm in no real discomfort right now.

Update:

Day two, feeling cocky (no pun intended) we went shopping at Sam's club. While I didn't lift the 55 lb bag of dog food (made Susie do that!) I did walk around without a jock for a couple of hours. By the time I got home, I was ready to lay down with the ice pack again and pop a few more pain killers. My left nut started to turn black and blue.

Day Three: We went on a Duty Free run to Windsor again, and again ate a fine meal at Sexypairca's house. Nuts were killing me the whole day!

Day 4: Sunday morning, woke up with a hard on, decided to take it for a test drive. Everything still worked! Tested it out three more times over the course of the day.

Day 5: Monday...can hardly walk. Left nut is solid black and blue. Dark color starting to move up left side of penis. Just kidding....but I am a little sore today. Only 8 more "pipe flushings" to go!

Drew, thanks for the well wishes, but we're not quite there yet. Still have to have 3 more ejaculations before I can take in a sample for sperm count, so the worry free point isn't there yet.

The pain point...still a little tender, but healing nicely.

Ok Julie...just because you posted that "challange" I did indeed make it to 11 last night. So this morning, I took #12 to the doctor and found out that I am indeed "surgically safe" with a sperm count of ZERO WOO HOOOOO [Smiley_sex]
