Surprisingly Good?

I was just posting to the thread on "In his kiss" about what's in a kiss? A couple of comments (including my own) led to the idea that often you can tell how good someone will be in bed by the way they kiss.

So I'm wondering have you ever been PLEASANTLY surprised? By that I mean have you ever been with someone that wasn't the greatest kisser or didn't seem like they'd be a great lover? But once you got in bed you found out otherwise?

Yes I have been. We met a couple and it took forever for us to get a time to actually play with them. We met socially a number of times with this couple but never did we have the time to actually play. I never got a chance to kiss the wife prior to actually playing and the level of flirting was very minimal, but there was an attraction.

Once we finally got naked and in bed all I can say is wow! We did have a great time, unfortunately for MrsVan, the experience was one of the worst she has ever had with the husband.

I can't say that I have been surprised. I tend to be a pretty good judge of character and since kissing is something that is important to me, if the kiss isn't "good" then normally I am not into it as much. It's not that the other person isn't a good partner, but more that I can't get as into it as I like to. Kissing to me is a very sensual part of sex and it's that sensual part that helps me be more intimate.
