Meeting a couple for the first time

My husband and I are new, although we have talked about swinging for a year. The Swingers Board was our first look into the lifestyle. After a couple of weeks of reading posts and club reviews, I couldn't stand it any more! My husband suggested I check out a site where we could possibly meet another couple. So we logged on to Swing Lifestyle.

I was nervous about people really being who they say they are. We got lucky and found a couple who were like minded and they also were newbies. We chatted for a couple weeks and traded pics. Both couples were excited to meet but it took several weeks for our schedules to coinside. We decided to go out to eat and see what happens from there.

Meanwhile, I continued reading post on Swingers Board and looking at profiles on Swing Lifestyle. I found the club reviews so allurring. I told my husband that I couldn't wait any longer. So we decided to head off for Club 104 in Columbus without anybody to show us the ropes.

It was the bomb! We had such a great time and everyone was so friendly. The club is very laid back, like us. We didn't have any swapping experiences but we were still hooked! Club 104 has a color coded cup system to know what others are looking for. They have a pool table, awesome sound system, heated patio for the smokers, private and public play areas and great hosts!

So the time finally arrives for our "date" with the couple we met on Swing Lifestyle. They had never been to a club although they had met a few other couples for dinner. So we felt like we had plenty of things to talk about and different experiences to share. My husband and I wanted to make a good impression and thought that a gift would a nice jesture. So what do you get for a newbie in the swing lifestyle? Well, we came up with the perfect gift for this couple!!

We get to the resaurant and we hit it off. We forgot to bring the gift in with us so I sent hubby out to get it. Our waitress noticed that we have brought a gift in and just assumes that we are celebrating a birthday. Since the wife of the couple we just met opened the gift, the waitress and other staff members bring her out a birthday dessert and sing "Happy Birthday". We all laughed so hard that we were crying, except for the wife that was embarressed by all the attention. Finally the waitress believed us that it wasn't her birthday.

So you ask, what did we get them? We got them a sleeve of "clear" cups. Since at Club 104, a clear cup means you are only "looking", not ready to swap. Red is looking for couples, Blue is looking for a single guy and yellow is looking for a single lady.

We ended the evening by going to a club and breaking out our "clear" cups. We are looking forward to meeting up with this couple again. So for all you newbies out there, take a chance and jump in head first. Hopefully you will come up smiling just like we did!!

Always great to hear a positive experience. I think most of us here are very happy with the lifestyle and what we've experienced, but not enough gets posted about those since so many here are looking for advice on where things went bad. We hope that you continue to have fun and we look forward to hearing more!!

Great story, funny thing is, when we went to Club 104 I thought they told us the clear cups signified those that didn't want to show their preference. Oh well, we probably had the wrong cups, but we had a lot of fun there too.

Hello ! as we are the couple that recieved the wonderful gift-o-cups (hence the name) It was a perfect gesture that relaxed us and also led to having a wonderfull experience for the 1st time to a club for both of us ! (no going was not planned at all, spur of the moment thing, we actually talked about going to play miniture golf ) It also led to what we think is a great friendship (be even better if she would buy a REAL tv )

We recently attended a halloween party at 104 with them and it was great, we got bolder !! Im thinking 1 more shot (and just a wee more alcohol) We make somebodies fantasy come true (at least partialy) Do have to say someones costume just about did it for him tho (he likes belly dancers)

All in all, we do have to say we are certianly glad we met this couple and have had fun each and everytime.... Thanks !
