Just another reason to be careful who you accept mentoring offers from. I agree with Spoomonkey.... this board is definitely one of the better ways to learn about this lifestyle. | |

I thought of mentors as people who you are able to go to in the event you need to bounce an idea, vent, share concerns or thoughts. Never once did I think that a mentor was a playmate. However, I find intriguing the idea of someone willing to show you the way.....and if you find them compatible.....a little play. I guess I have always been attracted to the "father figure." Zgirl |

With us, we really didn't regularly get together with a couple we considered as mentors. We have been with a couple now who we get together with on numerous occasions to swing with, and we do other activities outside of the bedroom with also. We have taken trips out of town had cookouts with, alot of times we get together with nothing sexual even involved. Now before they met us they had never swapped with another couple, and as far as we know, have only been with 1 other couple besides us, but we feel that we have been mentors to them. But for the most part, we feel that we are all very good friends. We can easily say that aside from swinging, that they are our closest friends we have right now. Just wanted to add our bit to the post. |
