Feel alive again?????? I am always a bit concerned when someone sounds like they "need" to bring another person into their bed to ward off boredom, to regain some sexual energy into their marriage and I am especially concerned to here, "feel alive again."

If you are not feeling alive, there are a lot more concerns here and things you should be working on, rather than finding some gal to hop into bed with you.

It is like exercise. You at least need to be relatively healthy to start. You exercise to improve your heart, not to revive one that is in cardiac arrest.

I think some people use the term "spice things up" because they see it being used a lot. It doesn't always necessarily mean their love life is boring or unfulfilled. It's usually just a phrase, nothing more, nothing less.

We certainly had a great sex life when we started swinging, but I can say, during our first experience, there were few times we felt more alive than we did right then.

First post by a new member, that hasn't even confirmed their email addy yet. Let them come back and give a little more info before deciding whether or not they are worthy of swinging.

Maybe I am just paranoid, but I'd make sure that whoever posted this ad came and had a threesome with my wife and I first. Then my wife could go off and join them. Willing to bet that they require it to be the other way around and when it comes time to "return the favour" they will back out. I think a better approach would be to find a couple you both like, have sex with them as a couple a few times then see if they are up for the alternating threesome idea.

That is aside from the concerns that newpants et al had. I share those concerns

Fair enough, but "feel alive again" is what caught my eye. Even in your own quote above you state it very differently, "few times we felt more alive". Maybe I am just too deep into semantics, but "alive again" and "more alive" ring very differently in my ears.

I agree with you and I am not rushing to judgement. However the statement was, "....I love him so much but I just think we need something that will spice things up and feel alive again....HELP"

That is a pretty powerfull statement and it would be irresponsible to not address it.

I am not addressing anyone's worthyness one way or another in the slightest. Just bringing up a statement that is concerning.
