How many swingers do you know from before swinging?

The Mrs. and I were talking the other night, after I was reading some data on how many people swing. The number range was very wide, from as few as 1 in 75 to as many as 1 in 20 give or take.

It got us to thinking about who we might know from our past that are swingers. You figure in a high school graduating class of 300 you would have 4 to 15. In college class of 6000, 80 to 300. When you think about you go regularly, the work place, the grocery store or mall, the numbers can add up.

We thought about who some of our old acquaintances my be or have been swingers. We laughed because she says no one would have pegged her, but many would likely have pegged me for swinging.

When we thought about it, we could literally know several hundred people who are swingers but as it stands we can't name one that we did not get to know via swinging.

How many people have you known prior to swinging and found out later they were swingers. So far for us, the answer is zero.

So far two couples. Neighbors down the street. And another couple that we were aquainted with 25 years ago, a number of mutual friends. For the second couple, it took about 20 minutes of talking at a party when the wheels began turning in my head.

One couple. They lived 3 houses from us and about a year after we moved to another part of the city they hit us up on Swing Lifestyle with an Email titled 'Small world'. When we pulled up their profile, their default picture was one I had taken for them of them standing by their Harley!

Well for me....3 males, 2 I wemt to school with and 1 I worked with. For Karla....4 co-workers, 3 male and 1 female. We both have curent co-workers we wish were in the lifestyle.

Last year we were hit up by a couple who was local to us. At the time I felt more protective of our identity so I did a search of their username to see what I could come up with. It ended up being a couple who I knew in high school and used to party at my apartment after graduation. In fact the male half had given my friends and I a strip tease. I saw her naked too and she was shaved back then, it was the first time I knew that shaving existed. It was no shock to see them on Swing Lifestyle after all these years. They recently became part owners of a club so we see them frequently there and at various clubs. We love to tell people at the parties the story about how we partied together in our teens and now here we are.
