if they are really good friends, suggest the four of you go on vacation together and rent a houseboat. if they are willing to go there, that is the perfect situation to bring out the beast (best?) in them. its private, you have beautiful surroundings, you have lots of free time with nothing much to do, no daily stress, and its appropriate to hang out in your bathing suits all day, so you usually arent wearing much to start with. just buy the wife a few wicked weasels for the trip and i guarantee sex will be on everybodys mind sooner or later.

we did that with my sister and my brother in law a few years a go and by the 2nd day were were all nude 3rd day we were swapping and kept coming up with hotter and nastier things from there. a real mind blow.

He knew..he did not deserve the title of husband but he was so we made sure that he knew and was fully OK with it before we continued. We were not familiar with the click phrase "No Drama" but common sense was there and we did not want any of it so we made sure he was fully aware.

Again it is question of semantics and perceptions.
From one point of view our swinger status would have been suspect in that we never been to a Club or formal Party. In 20/20 hindsight we were epodisodically active in what turn out to be the dying end of print meeting people.
But in our circle of "regular" friends even before taking those steps , had several couple friends that were very open about sexual interests. It would be common for us to sit around for an evening of watching porn, or visiting a strip club. And generally talking about sexual stuff.
With one cpl we did have same room sex ( and later same pick up truck sex). Likely would have moved on to swapping , but they split for unrelated reasons. We lost track of her after she remarried, still friends with him.
