Casualties of Swinging or Things you've left behind

We have a bad habit of always forgetting something in our hotel room. Pet has lost a number of shirts that he's forgotten in hotel room closets. At least twice he's remembered to actually call and have them send them to him. I lost a watch at our favorite club and never did find it, although it was reported that someone had found it, it just never found its way back to me.

This weekend took the cake. I left behind my night guard retainer in the hotel and didn't realize it till I was getting ready to go to bed the next night. I have to have this to sleep or I can spend the next day in great pain. So I didn't sleep much. Unfortunately, this was one of the few times where said hotel room was not in Nashville (which would have been really conveinent), instead it was in B'ham.... so I ended up leaving here at 9am this morning to drive to B'ham and pick it up then turn around and drive to Nashville for an ortho appt before coming back home.

When we talk about the cost of swinging, these are some of the things we forget to factor in.... and this weekend's play almost cost us A LOT more than planned.


So what have you left behind when you've gone out to play?

There are still earrings sitting in an apartment a couple of hours away from a playdate in March. We've seen the couple twice since then at a house party, but the earrings are still waiting for me...
We took home a friend's pair of strappy black sandals by mistake from a house party... somehow they got into our funbag. I sent them a ransom note with a pic of said footwear in front of the computer, showing the date on google, just so they would know that they were still alive... The ransom was paid in full...

Have had to buy more than one replacement for a left-behind charger for a cell phone.

Mrs two4you left her diamond tennis bracelet in a hotel room last year. When she called, they said "Nope, it's not here".

We don't like to talk about this incident. It hurts too much.

Amazingly, we've never lost anything on a swinging trip, although Greg somehow lost his complete set of keys (home, vehicle and work) on our flight back home from running in the Lake Tahoe Marathon.

I hate this thread. I keep trying to forget. But i am almost 90% sure that I forgot my god damn class ring at a house party. I'm just glad that my mom stopped asking me where it was, I think she just accepted the fact that I lost it.

moral of story, don't wear jewelery if you are constantly taking it off!

oh and also I forgot a brand new sweater. Luckly enough it had only cost me 5 bucks because the store was clearing out that particular brand.

I came close once. I had put a lot of body lotion on my hands as I started to give a playmate a sensual massage. That lubricated my wedding ring so much that it slipped off without my realizing it. Fortunately, it was still on the bed when we cleaned up later.

The only thing we ever lost was on our first swingers date and we had no interest in going back to find it. We decide to leave our swinger virginity in that SF hotel room.

We've not lost or left behind anything that we can think of, but the things we've found after a party range from watches and sunglasses (interesting only because our parties start well after dark,) to socks (never a matching pair,) panties, and an occasional bra. Everything eventually gets returned to its rightful owner.

I feel for you

Ted got woken up after about two hours of sleep one time and was made to go back down to the room where the social was held that we had attended the night before. I had woke up, noticed mine was gone and went into a tizzy...he found mine thank goodness.

I do have a tendency of leave clothing and toys behind so far, all has been returned to me. The only thing I can remember not being returned was a plate that I had put some finger food on to take to a house party...I wasn't and still am not concerned about it as it was purchased specifically to be taken to house parties, so if I remembered it fine and if I didn't fine and was not big loss.

I don't remember leaving anything at any party. I'm sure we'd get it back, but thank goodness, we haven't left anything either. This is amazing too, because Dave would sometimes forget his head if it wasn't attached.

Left behind my favorite, most comfortable velvet party bra! I really miss that thing especially since it was red... liked it for the holiday season!! Drats!! Haven't been able to find one quite like it since.
