Default Loss to our Community
I just recieved the following information:

Sue Gould who, along with her husband Ron owned one of the most well known and successful clubs in the midwest - Club Adventure - died yesterday morning after a brief but furious battle with brain cancer. Sue was a relentless trailblazer for swingers throughout the US. She sat on the board of NASCA and was also on the Executive Board of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. She authored a very well read book on swinging, Happy Swinging. She and Ron ran very popular conventions, namely Conclave and The Chicago Adventure. Sue and Ron retired from club business several years ago to pursue their greatest acheivement, being grandparents! Sue was a friend and mentor to many. Her presense will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Our thoughts go out to the Gould family at this time.

Although I've never known them, I've heard of The Conclave. It truly is a loss, and a real reminder why we need to support The Cancer Society.

After reading this sad news we looked up her book, and ordered it. It came with a book and a VHS tape. We are reading the book together, the tape was very good. Worth reading whether you are new to this or not.
