Lifestyles Travel....

Ok, so who's thinking about or planning to do a Lifestyle trip next year... and where and when are you going? We are looking at going to either Hedo2 in the fall or Grand Lido during one of the Lifestyles take-overs in the spring (March or May). Any suggestions on which is better? Anyone else thinking about or planning to go to either of these at those times?

It would be great if some of us could coordinate and maybe even pull off a little Meetup while away.

We have been to HEDO II (6 times in 7 years. Got married there), and Desire once in Cancun. We love HEDO II. Go every year during Thanksgiving week. Many friends we have met in the past go the same time every year.

Let us all meet there same time/place.

We won't be going to either place (no time) but word is that Prettylady

is having a meetup up Nord. We'll definitely make that one.

We went to HEDO2 in May for the first time. It was an absolute blast! Everyone we met was so welcoming. From our experience, you could not help but have a fun time. Pretty much everyone participated in theme nights and just had a great time. We are planning to go back in October (next month) and again sometime in the Spring. I've always heard that if you can schedule your trip when a lifestyle group is going, it's more active.

You can find more information at hedonism1.com, 4hedonism.com, and dennyp.com. You should be aware that there have been some trip resorts that describe problems with A/C in rooms and food quality. We did not encounter that on our stay. But we're also not hard to please regarding food. If you are only happy with 4/5 star amenities, you might not be happy with the food or rooms.

My understanding is that Grand Lido is more of a clothing optional resort, whereas HEDO is more of a lifestyle resort. We definitely met some non-lifestyle people, but most were in the lifestyle.

By the way, we'd love to go with a group from the SwingersBoard!! I bet you could easily find a travel agent that would handle the details for us. We used DennyP for our travel. I've also heard great things re: Castaways.

I assure you this is the case! Always booked solid, more fun than you can imagine!
The food & rooms??? Hmmmmmmm...don't really recall either one...they have those there?

MrsVan and I are planning on going back to Hedo 2 this winter. Our trip is from the end of Feb to the first part of March as I recall. It is the only LS resort we have been to so nothing to compare it to.....Maybe a SB meetup at Hedo 2?

The week we are looking at going are Lifestyle take-over weeks. The most likely week would be March 8-15 to Grand Lido just based on take-over weeks for the various resorts that is the week that would probably work best for us.

We went to Desire south of Cancun in May of '07 and already have reservations for June of '08 to return.

We haven't tried the others yet...but we'll get to them.

We are returning to Desire Cancun, for a threepeat, with "The Hot Tamales" group, May 24-31, 2008. Let us know if you would be interested in traveling with us.

We've been to Hedo three times and Desire 4 times. Both are great in their own ways, we probably prefer Desire, because it's couples only, no single guys.
