Women and their makeup

I don't typically wear make-up all the time, but I do if I'm going out. I wear the same make-up to go out at night as I wear during the day, same amount, etc.

Personally, I love seeing both my wife and other women done up with good makeup when we're out for a night on the town. It's not about whether they look better with makeup or not, but that well done makeup is very sexy and sultry which suits the mood. Katrina looks more beautiful without makeup, but when she does up her "night out" makeup she looks incredibly sultry.

For me, I don't think it is about the amount of makeup. Katrina puts on a lot of makeup for her night out look, but it is well done and looks amazing. Contrasted to other women who we see out wearing less makeup that look bad and often look like they are wearing more than Katrina, when its just that its not as well done.

My mom wasn't a girlie girl, and neither am I. Lifestyle occasions are usually the only time I'll wear makeup but even then, it's light - just enough to even out the skin tone and draw attention to the eyes and lips.

Some women look good without makeup and others don't. If used properly it can enhance a feature of the face, used improperly and hello Tammy Faye Baker . In the foothills of California where I used to live it was more common to see good looking women without makeup.

I wouldn't dream of going to a swing club without makeup on. It's bad enough that I have to forego the makeup when we're going to the beach, or hanging out at a pool, or going boating.

But, then again, I'm the same girl who doesn't go to the store without a bra on, or walk outside without my shoes on...

It's all about the quality of the makeup (you get what you pay for in a lot of cases), the colors you're wearing, and, of course, how you apply it. Just like with my hair and boobs, it takes a lot of time, money and effort to look "natural".
