Thanks to all the gals who have posted so far. When Mr LM and I head to the club, I don't carry a purse. In my bluejean's pocket I put my Drivers License, $20, and my lipstick and concealer. I'm good to go the night. I've always wanted to use eye make-up to give myself a more dramatic look, but I fail miserably every time I try. So I have resigned to keep things simple and lipstick is my security make-up. LM | |

| Swingers Board Addict | I have never been really big on make up..My foundation is generally the color of my original skin, I use some blush, eyeshadow and mascara. That is it. My mom raised me to not wear lipstick and therefore I do not wear it and when I try it out, I do not feel right with it on.When I go out to a club, I go just as I do if I was at home (except for the clothing part ). I have seen many woman who put way too much makeup on and they hide their true beauty. When I first started to date MrVan the one thing that has always stuck with me is the first night I spent the night at his apartment it was so unexpected. facelick Therefore I had no change of clothes or makeup and he wanted to go out to the mall. I was devistated as I never leave home without my make up on. And the one thing he said to me that day that made me feel so good was that I did not need any makeup as I am beautiful without it. With that compliment and a change of clothes I was ready to go to the mall without the makeup. MrsVan |

| Swingers Board Addict Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 406 Location: Kentucky Status: Couple | I am with Tybee and Mrs.Pagan on this one. Depending on the occasion and whether its evening or daytime, my makeup changes. I do wear foundation because I tend to have darker circles under my eyes, and to even out the skin tone a bit. Without a good base, nothing else looks right so I really spring for the good stuff, rather than the wal-mart stuff. My eyeshadow stays the same, because what I use now sets off my eye color well, but I will add an extra coat of mascara for night wear, and my lipstick goes from a coral gloss to burgundy at night. I don't use a thick powder after foundation, but I do use a translucent golden shimmer. Its not even noticable as far as knowing I have it on other than it helps add a healthy glow. First time I wore it my mother said she loved how I had done my makeup that day but couldn't pinpoint what I had done. So now I use it regularly.

| Canadian, eh? | Anyone ever considered getting permanent makeup? Tattood-on eyeliner, lipstick, brows, or lash enhancement? I've thought about it, because even thought I like how I look with my makeup on, I am a low-maintenance kind of girl. How great would it be to just get up in the morning and already have half your face put on? All you need is a good concealer stick and some lipgloss and you're good to go! My only concern would be that it would have to be very natural looking makeup. I would NEVER get bright red lips or thick black eyeliner tattood on my face! I'm going to be wearing the same thing when they plant me in the ground. Hot Tamale Red just doesn't quite look the same on an 80 year old great-grandmother as it does on a 20 year old. Would you do it, though? If you had someone who did great work and you chose very natural, versatile colours? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permanent_makeup

| Swingers Board Addict Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 254 Location: Beaver, OK Status: Single Male | I am most attracted to women that do not wear make up and still look feminine. I prefer women that are a bit more natural. For example, I don't care for high heels on a woman, and I prefer pubic hair on a woman, and hair on a woman's body in other places such as her pits wouldn't bother me, as long as she is not BUTCH. I am single, and I do hope that when I meet my life partner, that she is very all natural. As for as swinging wifes that I may meet with, the more natural the better, but I can't be too choosey!!! Its tuff enough being the single male in swinging sometimes.

My sister always tries to do me up, but I feel like it's too much. When I want a perk up for a casual occassion I'll put on some lipstick. My husband made a comment that I'll only wear makeup at weddings and funerals. Besides, living in a tropical area, foundation feels icky in my opinion. Also I've noticed that some people think I'm younger than my little sister who wears make up all the time. |

Maybe there are more women like you than I thought out there. I'm really glad to hear from more natural women. Thanks.

| T-Town Playmates Join Date: May 2001 Posts: 6,126 Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Status: Married to Mrs. Alura | Mrs. Alura wears little or no make-up. A time or two other women have remarked about how "perfect" her make-up was at the time. I must confess I was mystified. What was different??? What make-up? One time a friend of ours, who wouldn't be caught outside her home without make-up, did Mrs. Alura up for photographs. I have to admit she looked stunning. I took a whole roll of pictures. The photos looked like "glamour shots." She also looked a lot like Diedre (who made her up) and that's not a bad thing. ![]() Mr. Alura

I wear makeup sometimes, sometimes I don't. I tend to wear light make up to work - unless I'm wearing glasses, and then I won't put any on (don't know why I do that, either). I tend to wear more at the club, depending on the theme. The spousal unit doesn't care whether I'm just doing the freshly scrubbed and a neat & tidy ponytail, or if I do myself to the 9s. He's appreciative of both states, and everything in between, so makeup is just a mood dependent variable.

| Here to Stay | I am in the beauty business I have (according to Mr. LIC) beautiful blue eyes, so I definitely play them up when we go out, whether it's just the two of us going somewhere or if we're going to a club. Now that it's fall and I'm not in the sun, I put a little blush on to give my face some color. I stick with something very light for my lips since I don't know how soon I may be kissing someone ![]() I don't use foundation or powder, just never felt right on my skin and I could never quite match the color. I prefer my women not to be heavily made up and looking completely UN natural. That for me is a turn off. I don't mind my men with a little lipgloss... KIDDING! ![]()

I know, I know, I said I don't like tasting it, but... The thing is, it makes her feel more beautiful and that gives her more sexy confidence that's so attractive.

Weird, I know. I guess I just never got used to wearing it, I always feel uncomfortable. Maybe I just need to experiment and learn what looks good and what doesn't? ~SS

She did wear makeup, but only for special ocassions - and very light makeup at that. I was a tom-boy growing up, hair in ponytail off playing sports. I didn't have time to wear makeup or care. Now that I'm older, I sometimes feel like its expected of me to wear make up. But you're right...whatever makes one feel more sexy and confident is a good thing! ![]() ~SS

Women, on the other hand, sometimes look better with a little makeup. I like the natural look, some women do it better than others. The only thing I don't like is to much makeup. When a woman goes overboard with the makeup it almost never looks appealing to me. I think it is best when it enhances her looks without seeming like she is wearing makeup.
