How Old is Everyone and how long have you been swinging?

I was just thinking that this is something that really hasn't come up on here before. I know it comes up every day in the chat room so I thought I'd see what the deal is here

So how old are you guys? And how long have you been swinging?

I am 26 and he is 27 and we have been swinging for a year and a half. Our first trip to a swing club was for my 25h birthday.

How long have you and you significant other been together?

We have been together for 11 years and married for 2.

I am Ash, 45 years old, Fiona is 40. We've been married for 20 years and swinging for the last 3 years. Mostly we swing with a couple who have been our friends since long before we or they swung. We have also added a third couple three times. Other than that, the only swinging we've done was at a private party where there was a total of 10 couples. Fiona had sex with 4 of the guys there and I with 3 ladies. Before starting swinging Fiona and I had only ever had sex with one another.

Happy Anniversary, Jason & Sarah!

She's in her mid-forties; he's a few years older. We've been married twenty years, together for twenty-two.

We were invited to play with another couple on our second date but only found out we both wanted to say "yes" after the opportunity passed.

Three years later we got our second opportunity and knew what to say. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> Since then we've played with five couples, three of which lasted several years. We took time off to create our children and resumed play with the same couple afterward.

We are currently without playmates, but who knows what the future holds?

Dan - 44 years old

We will have been married 24 years this coming July 15.

We have been involved in swinging for three years. Currently without partners, but have been given the green light from a couple about three hours away. We shall see what develops.

I'm 35, Ted is 37. We've been married for over 20 years, together as a couple for over 22, have been good friends since we were 11 and 13 years old, and have known each other our whole lives (my earliest memory of Ted is playing in a dirt pile with Tonka trucks, before I started Kindergarden, lol). We had our very first experienced after we had been married about a year and a half, with one of his Navy buddies, our second was with a couple we were friends with about five years later, and then nothing up until about 2 1/2 years ago.

We actually consider ourselves to have been in the "Lifestyle" for only 2 1/2 years, as the first two experiences were kind of spur of the moment type of things. They caused no problems in our marriage, it was just something we didn't have time to pursue once the kids started coming, lol. Actually, we didn't know there was anything such as a "swinging lifestyle" until we got a computer and got hooked up to the web, lol.

The first few times it began kind of innocently with just hanging out with people, of course there was alcohol, and things just progressed. By the time I was a Senior there were actually parties that were mainly for everyone get together, watch porn and have sex. After graduating, I kind of left it behind...then a few years later began seeking out the local swinger's network. And ever since then have been basically in and out of the life, depending upon what was going on with my life.
When my daughter began high school, I found myself with a bit of time on my hands and while I had been *swinging* a few times a year, decided that now was the time to indulge a bit more. Now with her graduating and going to college, I plan to indulge as much and as frequently as possible. :p
It's been 22 years and while I may not have always been active in the lifestyle due to raising my daughter, taking care of my businesses, etc I have always considered myself a swinger. And yes, I am a swinger (this came up in the chat room the other day) and I am single. If I wanted to get laid, I could go to a bar and pick someone up

...but that's not what I want. I want to have sex, yeah, but I also want the friendship that one can get from other swingers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> Why this theory isn't grasped by some people is beyond me. The people who believe that I can not live a swinging lifestyle because I choose and do not have a *mate* are wrong. That thinking is rather antiquated, IMHO.

Okay I just turned 31 and hubby is 31. We've been swinging for 6 months now (still wet behind the ears and elsewhere <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> lol) Anyway we celebrated our 8th anniversary the day before my birthday. We've been together for 10 years total and friends for 16.
