Going from Vanilla to Heavenly Hash

Hello folks! I know I don't post here very often although I've been a member for a long time. Most of the time reading your posts gives me tons of information and for that I'm grateful. My wife and I enjoy swinging, but it's something that we haven't done often as we lead busy lives and there are few opportunities where we live. I just wanted to share something with you because it was a revelation to both of us.

Like I mentioned above, Island Gal and myself have had very few experiences in the lifestyle and the ones we had we have kept to ourselves (and the other couples involved of course) as secrecy and discretion is so important. There is another couple that we would consider our best friends that we see all time. They are our son's godparents and the female half is my wife's co-worker and business partner. They have always been what I have seen called "vanilla" friends, and we had never considered playing with them. Until the night before last.

We had a little party at a friends house late the other night. There ended up being three couples left including us and the other couple I was just talking about, and we ended up in the pool (bathing suits on at first.) We started gettind playful as bathing suits started to come off. Next we know we are all petting and touching and rubbing up against eachother like a big mound of flesh. Then we played with eachothers partners (the third couple didn't get involved in that since they are still in the early stages of their relationship) but mostly just touching and rubbing. Then we ended up having intercourse with our own partners. I guess you can call it a soft swap. We found the whole experience to be very hot.

The good part is that we are still the same friends as we all went to the movies together the next evening. We talked about what happened and agreed that we enjoyed it very much and would like to do it again sometime, but want to remain good friends as we always have. I think we just took this relationship to another level that won't have any negative effects on our friendship. Afterwards we discussed the movie and how it difffered from the book and....

I can't foresee how this will ultimately effect your friendship, but hope the swimming pool experience enriched it.

It sounds like the best of both worlds so to speak, and what a fun and spontaneous way for it to happen!

The Mr and I have talked alot about wanting to have friends with this kind of a relationship. Great friends that we like to do things with from just dinner or a cookout at home to going to movies, shopping, games, trips, etc., then the added perk of occasional play when the opportunity presents itself.

If everyone was okay enough the next day to go to the movie and just talk about that and everyday things with no weirdness then I say just go with it and enjoy the new additional benefits of the friendship. facelick

Sounds like a lot of fun! If you are close to the people, you should be able to make somewhat of a guess wether or not your friendship will be ok. Our first expereience before we ever knew there was a name for it, was with our really good freinds. I don't think any of us really knew there was a whole lifestyle for this stuff. But if we had been more informed, or maybe just used common sense, we would have been able to see it wasn't a good idea. They weren't very secure in their relationship. They had probelms, like he thought she "wanted" my man & she thought he "wanted" me. We should have seen that they weren't ready to deal with that kind of stuff. Needless to say, their problems interferred with our friendship & we are no longer friends anymore. Which sucks b/c we were good friends for quit a while.

But I think you would be able to feel it out. Ya know? Well anyways good luck! What more fun could there be then getting to "play" with your friends!

So far so good. This happened on Thursday night and last night (Saturday) we all went out to a night club. We all talked about the experience and even the younger couple said it was exciting to them, but we all agreed that they're not ready to get into it. We had a great time last night. Only dancing happened, but we really felt a bond as we all danced tight together on the floor. I think this is going to be good. Thanks again to everyone on this board for all your good information. I mentioned this forum to our friends so I'm hoping that they check it out and get to learn as much as I have from it.
