Survived our first club visit, unscathed.

So, the Mrs and I finally set foot in the door. We went to an on-premise club (The Suite), just outside Windsor, for a Meet and Greet. "Guests" (us) were not permitted in the play areas, only the bar / lounge / lockers / dance floor. We did get a tour of the place, including the play areas.

We'll post reviews later of the club, in the club listings.

My thoughts:
1. Hanging around here, being a nuisancey little kid helped. I wasn't expecting a "free-for-all" sex romp everywhere, and truthfully kind of expected the regulars to be polite, but not taking a big interest in us. After all, grand total, there were 2 non-member couples (us included), so most everyone was there to play. We couldn't have gone to the play area, ie, don't spend a lot of time.
2. The Mrs and I are not dancers (although only once was a guy up dancing), that may have contributed to her being "bored"
3. Everyone was nice. It was also nice seeing all shapes and sizes of people.

While we didn't stay quite as long as I had hoped, we were both OK with leaving when we did (about 2 hours after we got there), as I explained to one of the hostesses, being our first time, ever, we were rather overwhelmed. Amusingly, we were leaving about the point the 2nd couple showed up. The Mrs and I are both discussing going back, possibly to another M&G, possibly taking the plunge, and joining up (I would have been quite happy to take the Mrs up to the private room last night! Don't know that she'd have been ready for the "semi-private" area (beds with gauze curtains that you can see through. Curtain closed, no one can ask to join, curtain open = you can ask to join)) I suspect, we might take the plunge, sometime soon.

One thing we did once we got home, was we sent a thank you note to the staff, for making us feel welcome, and comfortable.

The first visit is always the most nerve-wracking. With that behind you now, your next visit will be a lot easier - and I'm sure you will visit again. Between you and me, Jason, don't be surprised if she brings it up first.

The club e-mailed us back today, in response to our thank you note we sent. They're having a "Introduction to the Swinging Lifestyle" "class" later this month. The Mrs and I talked about it today, and decided to go.

We're also talking about going to one of the (closer) off-premise in a couple weeks (Valentines it just us), see what that's like...

Me, I'm picking out "clubbing" outfits for the Mrs.

Amusingly, I went to take a peek on Swing Lifestyle, see if we've gotten any mail through there, and the couple on the sign in page, I think, is one of the couples that was at the club last night (they're both kind of unique looking, and I don't mean that badly) They're not one of the couples we spoke with though, or I'd be tempted to e-mail them...

Just a further note on this...

I think quite, possibly, we will end up joining, at some point. If nothing else, as I pointed out to the wife, short of actually:
1. Building a bondage cross and finding somewhere to keep it in the house, where else would she be able to tie me up, and punish me? Yes, they have one, and yes, the guy giving us the tour suggested this, and the wife got a grin on her face.
2. Playing on a Love Liberator Black Label Esse, without buying one, and again, finding somewhere to keep it?

We'll have to see, though. I'm not going to push her any faster than she wants to go.
