My first time almost changed my mind about swinging...

I just wanted to vent about my first swinging experience. My significant other and I met a couple online via another site. We talked for a couple of weeks via phone and a couple of times online. Really nice couple. But as I have learned from reading some of these posts communication is very important and boundaries should be set up front. My SO and I have talked about our personal boundaries and how we feel about swinging etc. We decided that for our comfort levels we'll start off with soft swap until if and when I feel comfortable moving forward. He was excited about seeing me with another woman. Anyhoo we talked and exchanged pictures with the other couple. They were also new to the lifestyle and she had never been with another woman (I have).
We decided to meet at an on premise club to meet the other couple and plus we were celebrating my birthday and my SO's as well. We ate, drank, talked, and had a good time. We decided to explore the other areas of the club at this point and ended up going in a private room. The other couple started to explore eachother and me and my SO started to as well. So it started off as same room sex which I was cool with. I believe it was the excitement of my first time, the atmosphere or whatever but I wasn't attracted to the male member of the couple and I personally shouldn't have let it go as far as it did. Again we exchanged pictures and everything but let's just say some people are more photogenic than in person. In order for me to really enjoy a sexual encounter there has to be some physical attraction there. This gentleman happen to have a small build in more ways than one. Also we didn't plan on doing a full swap but part of that was our fault for not being clear up front. We had left the private room and were in the group area. My boyfriend and I were enjoying eachother off and on and watching the "scenery". The next thing you know her hubby had passed her a condom and he put one on and she climbed on his lap and her hubby attempted to have intercourse with me. That lasted about 5 minutes or so until I couldn't go with it anymore and was ready to call it a night. The hubby made a comment that I was "soft" because he says I come too quick. Little does he know he just wasn't doing it for me. Or maybe he did pick up the vibe who knows. I decided to hold my tongue that night and not spoil the rest of our evening and our birthdays and let the night end on that note. To make a long story short let's just say the experience wasn't enjoyable in more ways than one and I know for a fact I wouldn't want to play with this couple again. They seemed to really enjoy our company and the hubby still communicates with my SO on occassion. I consider myself to be an attractive woman and the husband seemed to be really attracted to me. But after I thought about it a while it dawned on me that we apparantly must not have communicated the fact that we were not planning on doing a full swap but they took it upon themselves to go for it. It was my fault for not stopping it then. Also since she had never been with a woman she initially wasn't going to approach me at all because she was nervous about it being her first time with a woman. Overall I enjoyed my first time at a club just not my experience with that couple. But my SO and I did end my making love until daylight once we got home. and was able to laugh about our first experience. The next time everything will be communicated up front!

Sounds like you learned a lot from your first experience! It's good that you were able to examine what happened and determine what you would do differently. And it was great that you had awesome reconnection sex with your SO!

Us also being new we had a similar experience although not the quite same. Don't let the first time scare you off since our second time we found a different couple who is great and respect our boundaries and it was much better. So keep your chin up and have a good time. At the very least you had great sex afterward's and probably communicated better after this mishap.

Our first experience at a club was almost the same as yours, sad to say, my wife didn't enjoy it very much. That wasn't what I wanted. But we had a great time together!!!

Like the song says: "You don't always get what you want".
If you have any preconceived notions as to what you feel is an acceptable other couple, you should let it be known before you agree to meet.
I'm fairly certain that the people you found to be less than acceptable would have gladly avoided the encounter had you just said what it was that you considered to be unacceptable, be it actions, experience or the size of body parts.
