My wife and I have been talking lately about the lifestyle more and more. Normally we did the FMF thing but more frequently we have been adding another male. My wife has been a bit insecure about this stating that she felt like it was wrong, even though she enjoys it.

1. No clandestine emails or phone conversations. If this happens the deal is off
2. No separate rooms
3. We both agree on the partner(s)
4. Safe practices all around

We discussed this in great detail and I would encourage her to continue with it. We found out that we had BOTH thought about this for years before, but never brought it up to each other. I suppose I posted this to offer some advice as to how we approached it.

Those are reasonable ground rules and good ones also. You are keeping things open and honest, which I consider to be a must, and have established your ground rules. Good for the two of you!

Many couples talk about what they won't do with other people. It's one of those "created to be changed eventually" rules but y'all should talk about if anything is off limits. Good luck

I really don't think the rules will change all that much. We have both decided that if we are going to persue this, things have to remain as they are, but I will guess both of us have to keep an eye out for any potential changes. Actually the other night we were out and the wife was into the female but I could see things were not going to go well, and I politely said "no thank you and we were off" We still had a great time at the club though.
