Our first swinging step

well we finally did it. after tooing and fro-ing since making the initial booking,

with both of us getting the jitters at least twice each, and plenty of reassuring "we have our boundaries, nothing is more important than our relationship, we don't have to do anything", we attended our first swingers party. we had never done Any swinging at all, so we were in for a treat.

not knowing what to expect, our initial expectations bounced from "it might be friendly" to "this is going to feel sleazy". within 10 minutes, those thoughts were out the window. it was by far, the most relaxed and non-sleazy social experience of our lifetime. i suspect because everyone there is so comfortable around sex, that there is none of that "looking for meat" despiration at vanilla parties.

we weren't sure if it was taboo to discuss why we were there, but the hostess, and several great couples quickly put us at ease, especially when they heard we were "newbies".

the first few hours were spent socialising, and we discovered that chemistry was far more important than age or looks, finding several couples that we wouldn't have considered our "type" extremely warm, inviting, and attractive.

we started to suspect that no sex was going to happen around midnight, but on cue, a group scenario broke out in the living room. we found ourselves extremely turned on and joined in on the edge. a few different people joined in touching us, and seemed to be very gentle and moved slowly knowing that this was our first time. Mr Phoenix's fears of jealousy were quickly quashed as he found himself hoping that another man would take Mrs phoenix from behind. but alas, he was too shy to put out a request. Mrs phoenix quickly found a girl to play with, and invited Mr Phoenix over to help her.the only hiccup of the night occured, with one of us not hearing the other's request, resulting in Mrs Phoenix getting a tinge of jealousy, but things were rectified within seconds once the message was heard, and there were no ill feelings. i think we're going to need to develop hand signals

soon enough, the excitement got too much for foreplay, and we had some of the best sex of our lives as several people watched, forfilling one of our fantasies, and proving to ourselves that we really are exhibitionists.

a relax in the spa and a chat with two other more experienced couples was a brilliant way to end the night. unfortunately we had to turn down one of the couples offers to go to a room together, as we were both almost falling asleep. in hindsight, we both are kicking ourselves, as we both would have loved to play with this couple. but we know that they are regulars there, so hopefully get the chance next time. hopefully they don't think that we were trying to fob them off.

so from being nervous, and thinking that we probably won't have sex at all at the party, we joined in group play, and only have regrets that we didn't play with more people. but as we keep telling ourselves, a great first time, and we have the rest of our lives to play

on a side note, the next morning we woke up arm in arm, and smiled at each other. since saturday night, we've felt a whole new level of closeness to each other, and our already active sex life is in overdrive.

sorry for the novel, but we're kinda excited that we finally took our first step, and that it turned out so well, and really, we don't have too many understanding friends to share it with

Thank you for sharing this with us. Its kinda one of the nice things I always like about the Swingers Board. We get to have some dialect anonymously with people who understand what we are talking about.

Congratulations!!! That feeling of closeness is just awesome isn't it! Welcome to the lifestyle! Your way of looking at the world will never be the same again, regardless if you keep playing or not. Now the really fun time begins. Now's when you start making all of those fantasy lists in your mind of what you'd like to try, etc.
