Well, it seems to be a unsaid tradition that people will post about their first experience in the lifestyle. I'm happy to be posting mine finally!!!

Recently we met a couple that really seemed to click well with. Similar interests to the point it was uncanny, and we all seemed to have some pretty good chemistry. Scheduling conflicts kept us from getting together for what seemed like an eternity. We had already exchanged pictures too, and we were both ready to play with this extremely attractive couple before we even got there.

We kept the rules simple. Full swap, same room, and stop at any time if it gets uncomfortable for any reason.

On the way there we were pretty nervous. We had met them in a vanilla setting previously, but we still hadn't had a whole lot of face time together. It had a large dance floor which would see some use and the DJ did a very good job at keeping the place popping. Had a scavenger hunt to help people break the ice which I thought was a noble effort by the club.

At one point myself and the other wife had our first kiss, which was very nice. I'm not much of a flirt, and it was terribly difficult for me to be forward before this. (and even after) We danced off and on which everyone seemed to enjoy. I was drinking a bit which was helping to loosen me up and keep me from being so damned nervous, and I was able to touch and play around a bit more. Meanwhile Mrs. Truelove was always a step ahead with the other Husband and they were really enjoying themselves.

We even teased a little orally near the dance floor which was very hot, and at one point the women went out in the middle of the dance floor per the DJ's challenge and gave a the other husband a little blowjob. I did have a terrible moment in which I spilled my drink across the table, but thankfully only a very little spilled on the other wife. However, I was extremely embaressed. Needless to say this was the most pleasant couple and we couldn't have had any more luck than to be with them for our first experience. They were both very thoughtful and understanding, and I am not sure I can say enough good things about them both. Except to say I am sure we will be getting together in the future. And in case they stumble across this thread I would like to thank them for the wonderful experience, and the thoughtfullness they both displayed.

If it is any consolation Mr. truelove, I haven't had performance problems in swinging in quite some time, but if I had spent the day as you did and didn't get to the sex part until 2 AM, I would have performed the same way. As you know from being on this board for so long, this is very, very common...even when the lady is smoking hot. It's natural to be nervous, of course. Even with swing experience, new people/new situations are always exciting and there are some nerves - perfectly normal. But then, people stay out LATE, they're drinking, and don't even get started until well into the wee hours. Your body is used to being asleep by then, and that's without a stressful and exciting day. Add some drinks, and using condoms which you're probably not accustomed to, and sadly, all of this adds up to things not working as you'd wished. So, just know that if you do things differently next time, you'll have a whole different outcome!

You already got the tip about ultra-thin condoms. If yours aren't ultra-thin, give those a try. My thought: practice using condoms at home with your wife. Due to the delay in stimulation in the time it takes to get one on, that's often where a man may start to lose it. But, practice makes perfect! You'll get adept at using condoms and it won't feel so much like an interruption, distraction, something to fumble around with. My hubby had problems when we first started swinging, due to the fact he hadn't worn a condom in....20 years, maybe? LOL

Maybe next time you see your couple, you could have an encounter with them before the late-night clubbing.

Another thought occurred to me, too...sounds like you spent the night at their house, right? Trying things out the next morning after a good sleep might have been an excellent time to try again. I know hindsight is 20/20, but maybe this is a thought for next time?
