Our first House Party

Yup, Thats right. We have never been to one before but we won't be able to say that after this weekend .

All we know so far is there will be about 6 other couples there plus the couple that invited us (Its their house)we'll call them Tim & Judy . They are pretty experienced with this sort of thing.
The only people we will know there is Tim & Judy and we met them at our favorite swingers club.
They said we know at least one other couple that will be there from the club but their names do not sound familiar.

Not really sure what to expect but I'm sure whatever happens it will be fun!!

We haven't been to a "house party" but we've been to a party house.[The Erotic Zone in Dallas, I highly recommend it!] It is in a private residence but set up for alot of fun with a dance floor with a pole and various bedrooms set up for varying degrees of privacy. It was a wonderful experience but it was helpful that we knew 3 couples who attended that night already. It didn't take long for clothes to come off {peer pressure is an amazing force }
and the dance floor proved very to be a sexy way to get things cooking.

We do have a small bit of advice for your house party. At smallers parties such as this upcoming one, there is a tendency for the chit-chat to run a little long. We remember from this thread that you are not shy about “breaking the ice” with other couples, so be prepared to use some of your strategies for doing so. Have fun!

Oh how exciting! I'm looking forward to hearing how it went. We were invited to our first house party this weekend but since I have to work we declined. We are going to our first on-premise in a couple weeks but part of me thinks a house party would be even more of a blast. Have fun!

My bride and I prefer house parties to clubs. It is more social and more spontaneous for us. Things we like. We don't go to parties with any expectations of the evening other than good drink and company. If something happens with others, great. If it doesn't, just as great. We had a good time partying anyway. And we've been to those that we've had action and those we haven't.

Make sure going in you know what is cool and what isn't with the hosts. What rooms are off limits for private sessions, where it's okay to smoke, where it's okay to be naked (don't want to piss-off the neighbors), etc.

Most of our swinging is at private parties including those that we host. We find it more easy going and everyone socializes more. The only thing that I can add to this thread is that at most private parties everyone knows everyone else except the new people. If everyone else plays a certain way there is the tendancy to assume that you play the same as they do. If you have rules don't assume that you will be asked about them first. I would suggest asking the hosts how the play is generally structured. For instance if you only swing as a couple with another committed couple in the same room and everyone else plays alone wherever there is mattress space, then you will need to make your requirements known very early before all the couples are gone and only unrelated singles are left. If you require condoms make sure your partner knows that before going off with them. Don't ambush them at the last minute. Don't be afraid to go over and chat with someone. It's very easy to sit on the couch until you notice that everyone is gone (They may disappear quickly once the party gets started) .

As as side note to Greg and Sheryl's comment about the never ending social hour this is indeed true. People will talk all night if you let them. There is a basic rule of hosting. "It's the host's job to start the party". Since I usually know the hosts I don't have any problem reminding them of their obligations but it's a bit tough to speak up when you don't know them .
