In Hawaii...swing local, or travel?

We are new to the idea of swinging and are excited to "get things started" but because where we live is small and limited, should we just plan an expensive trip to mainland America or keep searching for the right place on the island?

Negative - It is also hard to be discrete on a tiny island where it is easy to cross paths with someone you are not expecting to see.

Possitive - Although few and far between, there are swinger clubs and swinger parties available.

Any advice?

I can understand your concerns about swinging on an island. We have bumped into co-workers at clubs 200 miles from home. Depending on which island you live it would seem that you would have some luck meeting people that are coming form the mainland to vacation plus there are a lot of military personnel that are swingers. Be cautious with the military though, I was stationed in Kaneohe back in 1989 and my office investigated the "key swap" parties that were happening. Lots of good Marines lost promotions and few careers were ruined because of the things that were happening.

If you were to look in the right places you will find places to meet other swingers on the island. They have a few groups around that have meets & greets every friday night.

And yes, since it's a small island and everyone knows everyone, the idea of swinging is kept more descrete among people that live here and in a location like ours.

Unfortunately there are No on-premise swinger clubs on the islands of hawaii to speak of. But their are private house & hotel parties that occasionally pops up from time to time that you can find (if your lucky) posted on local swing message boards & chatrooms, but these things are pretty much underground, unless you know someone there (a local) thats got the scoop on any private events that would be happening.

Otherwise, the only suggestion we can offer if you are looking for a little fun and a good time around town in hawaii would be in trying to hookup with someone from this forum or an adult personals websites.

And yes, its a beautifull place to play. Unfortunetly things are really underground here in hawaii, due to the cultures and since its a small islands that you never know who you'll bump into, from this - locals from hawaii tend to be very descrete here about the lifestyle.

My wife and I have spent a lot of time on little beach in hawaii. Its a GREAT beach, and a illegal nude one that is ignored by the authorities. While there, we could identify couples that were quite possibly swingers, but its not a 'swingers' beach. The far end of the beach is the gay area, the near end is the 'new and kinda shy' area and the middle is where most people hang out.

Fun place, but don't count on anything beyond what it looks like.

If you are going to be on the Big Island, kehena is clothing optional, warm ponds at poohiki are clothing optional at night... Sixty sevens was clothing optional beach - dont know if it still is.....

And definately swinging is undercover but you might try to connect with the Hawaii BDSM yahoo club - someone on their list may have more ideas...

We found bits and pieces of swinging but not much........unless you are a 25 yr old Hot Bi babe.... lol....
