We've set up a Twitter account exclusively for our lifestyle life (keeping our vanilla Twitterverses separate - Twitter is ALL new to us). Besides this fantastic site, what are some other good "follows" for the lifestyle?

Secondly, is there anyone here for whom Twitter has done much as far as connecting with new friends? Unfortunately, we can't really "advertise" our Twitter acct on the swinger site we frequent - against the rules - so we may not have much luck with locals. We're open to suggestions on that front.

While we've never hooked up with anyone that we've met on Twitter, it has been a fun way to share ideas, opinions and experiences with others in the lifestyle. Kind of like the Swingers Board!

Oooh...I didn't know SwingersBoard was on Twitter! Must add them today. My Twitter is exclusively linked to my blog which is separate from our Lifestyle profile, so haven't used Twitter for real-life friends....yet.

I would just ask people you meet if they are on Twitter. Probably some are, but you may find that they want to keep them vanilla for privacy reasons. I've noticed an uptick in our Lifestyle friends using Facebook for hooking up, creating completely separate Facebook profiles for the Lifestyle.

There are a lot of good Lifestyle "follows" on Twitter. Once you find a couple, just check out who they are following and you will soon find yourself with plenty of suggestions. Twitter is really good at finding profiles that would be a good match based on who you already follow.
