Observation

I have recently noticed something that I find quite amusing and don't know why people do it.
We were on Swing Lifestyle looking at the profiles and noticed some people put up pics of themselves fully dressed, face shot the whole thing so you can see what they look like, but when the put up pics of themselves topless or some what nude they blur out there faces. Just something we have noticed.

Well, the reason for that would be, they don't want an identifiable nekkid pic of themselves out there that could be scooped and used against them outside of the context of the swinging site.

There are lots and lots of pic thieves out there. And even though you can't right click on pics on Swing Lifestyle, it isn't hard to steal pics there. The thieves then e-mail them around and post them on other sites.

What they said. It's not about people who see them on those sites not being able to recognize them from the picture... but more if that same (naked) picture ended up elsewhere (or was seen by itself) that you would not be able to identify them from it.

Some people are afraid of gnomes.

If your talking about the blurred out face's... Like, melted, smeared, swirlish

Well I'm not saying I'm scared or freaked out like that, but I find them somehow repulsive.

I don't gaze at them very long. Cut out a block head, anything but that smeared look.

Sure you can. Temporarily disable javascript. The "protection" is just a javascript tidbit that reacts to that click.

Better, install Firefox's "noscript" extension, and you'll have the most readily-usable customizable mechanism for javascript selectivity, including 1-click enable/disable.

(Nobody is actually using IE, are they? IE does not have bugs, IE is a bug.)

Ok didn't no about the "noscript" extension, but I agree with you, IE is absolutely a bug! I have one website that drives me nuts that the owners will not work on and only works with IE. (small sports management program). It is the ONLY time I use IE

Yeah we had one guy send us pic's of a female we knew...and had played with..... trying to say he was female... She was not pleased. funny how fast im works.
