Multiple Ads?

I was doing some perving on Swing Lifestyle today and encountered two or three that were AMAZINGLY similar. Two of the accounts were active, as in had been visited within the last few days. The descriptions of the couple were almost identical, give or take a pound or an inch or a year, and had almost identical phrasing throughout. All accounts had no pics, no certs, and were free. The locations are extremely close to each other.

Anyone run across this kind of thing much? Any reason that anyone can think of for doing it? After all, if the one profile isn't going to appeal to a certain couple/person, surely another almost identical one isn't going to work either.

Or maybe I'm just being cynical. Maybe these actually are three separate couples with extremely similar likes/dislikes, ages and body types, all in close proximity to each other, who are made for each other. In that case, I do hope they get to meet up!

I've noticed this same thing and can only guess for the cases where the locations are the same or nearly the same. One guess is that after one profile has been blocked, that same person gets another profile to be able to perve you again. There is a single man who keeps popping up here in the Pittsburgh, PA area in a new re-incarnation. After his IMs me at 3 am and I block him; he re-appears a week or two later at a new profile and does the same thing again. I know it's the same guy because the IM always starts the same.

Now, a revelation. JoAnn and I have more than one profile at S L S. We have one for our home town and another for a city we visit frequently. It works well. Have attracted more than one couple who lives at the "travel" location.

Well, a different ad for the two locations makes sense. In this case, it's two active ads for the same location that are almost identical. Most bizarre....

We also have two profiles, one for our location, and a traveling profile that is almost identical but clearly states it is a traveling profile and references back to our main one for pics etc.

The other possibility, if the other profiles are dated, is that they didn't have any luck, probably because they don't have pics, so they created a new one so that they show up on the "new" list and might attract new interest. That probably doesn't work well because I slide right past a new profile unless it has pics.

Also since there is a certain limit of how many profiles you can view/contact if its a free profile they make more than 1.

Talked to one couple that had 3 profiles. One for a couple seeking another couple, one for a couple seeking a couple or straight single male, and one for a couple seeking a bi male or bi male couple. Lots of people will not play with a bi male or a very expierenced couple so they decided to cover all the bases. They are very well off and can afford the ads, travel, and entertaining. I'm not big on lying but sort of understand their point. They are "fuck first and ask questions later" swingers and don't believe in spending a lot of time wading thru bs. Different strokes and all that.

A further twist...I noticed the same crude descriptive language on two ads. Almost verbatim. Pics were similar but the kicker was they gave each other certs.

Needless to say, we had no interest. They even tried to friend us.

Both of the above reasons come to mind. A third that came to my mind was that if perhaps they were seeking slightly different things... perhaps in one ad the guy is straight and in the other he's bi?

What's going on in a lot of the cases is couples having profiles set up specifically to set up MFM or hotwifing stuff.

When the guys that can't read, don't follow your wishes, or otherwise don't meet your criteria get to become too much of a pain it's easier to just let a profile rest awhile than to try to deal with all the guys that can't follow instructions.

On Swing Lifestyle with the free accounts you can only respond to 5 emails a day, and viewing other people's profiles is also limited, so when guys that don't meet your need email you, you can only rely back to so many and it gets to be overwhelming.

This is also why you often see on ads "no single guys, no single guys, no single guys" and such. Some men are so dumb and inconsiderate it's a miracle if they ever get any pussy.

I share my wife with other men and I can tell you from experience that when you post any type of "fuck my wife" ad you will be swamped with responses, and amazingly enough many of them will be from guys that have no intention at all of meeting you, they just want to collect pics of your wife. Of the ones that actually do intend to meet with you, some of them are flakes, most of them didn't bother to read your requirements, and maybe a sparse few actually bothered to read your ad and also are near what you were looking for.

We were just talking about this last weekend. There is a couple who have the same pics on two profiles. Different names, but the only other thing that is different is that on one the male is listed straight, the other he is listed as bi. We assumed it was because a lot of straight guys won't play with bi guys....? Still, seems kind of sneaky, I would rather just know upfront.....but to each their own.

Its actually what I was going to throw out there.. and its not only Bi that can be the "cause"
