Rude email?

Okay, I find this just plain strange. Back in the winter, a couple got in touch with us and invited us to a house party which appeared to be morphing into a private club. We considered it, but friends of ours went to one and found it an odd mix of people, too structured (as in, rules included that you HAD to play their games- rather than just play), and too expensive. So we never ended up going (hey- they didn't even invite our friends back! What were the odds we'd fit in?)

Fast forward to now, and we just received 4 times in one day the same email regarding the latest party. So I sent them a polite email saying:
"We have now received the same email 4 times today. Thank you for the invite, but please remove us from your mailing list, as we do not think that we would be a good match for your parties."

This is the answer I got back:
"Thanks for letting us know that you're a Single Male, you're right Single men simply arent a good fit ANYWHERE in the lifestyle."

WTF??

So single men are NOT a good fit in the lifestyle?...Mrs. Ekies has found them to be a good "fit" on a number of occasions.

I'm having trouble coming up with an analogy from everyday life to fit the stretch they made after your polite "no thank you".

Let's say you went to their party and were approached by another party-goer and you said "no thank you", would you be a single male then? And what if you said yes?

This person is a moron and should be treated with the disdain that the response of the sort that was sent to you requires. I find that saying no to any offer is difficult and when an immature baby who doesn't get his or her way acts like this it makes being honest with people more intimidating and difficult.

In vanilla life I'd say "fuck'em", but as swingers it's best to NOT "fuck'em"...

Well if I WAS going to respond (which PB really wanted me to do, but I thought would NOT be a good idea), it would have gone something like this:

Dear Hosts:
A) We're not
B) They ARE
C) Who the FUCK do you think you are, anyway?

Concur with can't fix stupid. Arguing with them would be a waste of time. Think of them as having done you a service; they've now removed any question that going to their parties would be a good idea.

Well ... duh... obviously the only people who wouldn't want to be spammed by them are single males... isn't that just obvious to everyone... :P
