How many ad sites do you belong to?

Do you find yourself just sticking to one ad site or do you have ads on multiple sites? If you belong to multiple sites what do you think is the percentage of couples you recognize on other sites? Did you sign up for multiple sites all at once or did you wait for one to slow down before you added more? Is you profile worded the same or did you change it up.

I'm just curious more than anything. I'm not currently using any but it's in the talks.

Not going to claim that ours is the most effective strategy but we maintain a profile on only one swinger's contact site. When we first began our search, we maintained profiles at several Web sites and displayed pretty much the same story at each as well as the same pictures. On any particular Web site, we found both profiles that were the same people as at the other sites and profiles that were placed by different people. Our primary reason for dropping all but one is that fact that we were receiving earnest inquiries and earnest responses at only one.

We have ads on two sites, but really only pay any attention to one of them. I like the format better on the "primary" site, and we seem to get more out of it. If we hadn't signed up for a lifetime membership on the secondary site, we'd close the account.

We currently are on 4, though I'm considering taking it down to 2. We rarely get any real contacts on 2 of the sites. On the 2 other sites, we get the most connections with people. We via many of the same profiles on both of those sites, but we have met people who are on one but not the other.

Ok, this is gonna draw some flack..

We sign up for most every site we come across, or hear about. New ones are best, and I even send links to people on our email lists and Im lists, cause you never know when you might be signing up getting in on the ground floor of the next Swing Lifestyle of AFF.. Imagine how HAPPY you would be if you had a early LIFETIME membership to AFF today?

The other reason is while we havent copywrited our screen name, we like the idea of keeping it everywhere we go.. Swing Lifestyle and Swingular are the among the only ones we couldnt, someone else took it..

Sites go up every day, and yes, sites go down, or fall apart everyday.. SN is one of those.. sold three times over, and now expecting lifetime members to re pay to become GOLD members. Swingular is another that is in "re design limbo" they have flaunted the re design, profiles are for the most part updated to it, HOWEVER there are questions asked on the new profiles, that you cant access with thier current system.

Now, quality sites dont allow you to "right click" on anything. Most dont realize, Windows Vista has a tool the you dont need to right click.. a snipping tool to grab ANY picture on your screen. If you can open it, you can grab it.. and it does work on Swing Lifestyle.

The big commercial sites are OK except for the prices, because they draw more people than the smaller sites. I use OK, because in addition to real lifestyle folk, you get wannabes, picture collectors and cyber sex seekers, and Game Players.

There are sites that are out there that have features we like.. being able to see who has looked at our profile is great. Simple things like flirts or Bling depending on where you are again, is an easy way to let someone know you are interested.

So, bottom line, its completely up to you.. and how "out there" you wanna be

We are free members of many sites and paid members of three. What we have found, at least for our area, is that one site will be dominant and most folks will be on that site. In our area that would be Swing Lifestyle. It is rare to find someone on one of the other sites that isn't also on Swing Lifestyle.

When we first started out, we belonged to 3 different sites, now only one. We belong to one ad sites(Swing Lifestyle) and two forum sites(Geoswingers and Swingersboard).
