Whats with profiles with no guy pics?

The original post was not about face pics, it was about pics in general.

I look through profiles and am so confused by them...

If you are not swingers, and dont want to swing, why have a profile on SLS?

If you are only looking for females/males why put interest in couples on your site?

If you are an interracial couple why beat around the bush?

Why lie about your weight, or age? You will be found out and are probably wasting the other couples time.

I work in a couple of industries, both jobs make me easily recognizable. Therefor I must be discreet with my photos, as I don't necessarily want to be found out. If it happens I will deal with it, but I rather not put myself out there to make it happen.

So I totally understand the "no face pics" but at least give us an idea of what you look like!

We got invited to a local party, on premise. I found out not only do they let non swinger couples in, it is pretty much open to the public in general... So not cool.

The people also stated the clientele is around my age... ha! 80% of the people are 40 and up, that is not "around my age!"

So we are not going to this event. It really bothers me that a supposed "swingers event" is open to EVERYONE! This seems to be to just be asking for trouble.

These are all good questions, we ask them every time we have used add sites.

It got to the point where we were flat out asking if they were old pictures. We started looking into swinging about 10 years ago. Some of the photos we saw then are still being used today by the couples, and some of those photos were old to start with.

This is the one reason the clubs are easier to work with, most of the add issues go away very quickly.

The only problem I have with clubs, is I have friends who are swingers, and have seen other local swingers out on the town due to my job, and they are no where near discrete.

One couple hit on me while I was working, got numbers from everyone in the bar/restaurant (including people who had kids at the table!) and then set their sites on my assistant, who had no clue what they wanted and gave them her number. When I explained what they wanted, she was horrified, I thought it was hilarious.

I wonder what she said when they called her?

So if I do end up hitting a club its not going to be around here.

I used to live in an area where there were a lot of clubs, and since I bartended at a strip club, sometimes I would go with some of the girls to the clubs, as we could buy booze, and have somewhere to chill.

This was before I got into the lifestyle but generally i was very very turned off by the whole situation. there are some things I dont even want to imagine. There isnt enough mind bleach in the world to erase some of the things i have seen at both on and off clubs, and I really dont feel i would ever be comfortable.

You really do not think that blurring your face is going to slow down a single person from identifying you do you?

This is all for fun. This is recreation. When it threatens other facets of our lives, pictures are simply not amongst our options. Some folks could care less if the whole world knows they are participants in the lifestyle. Great for them. Some people even identify that drugs are a part of their play. Drugs just happen to still be illegal. Doesn't make any difference if you are 420 friendly or not, they are still illegal. If a person's career is blowing in the wind, there is simply another view on posting naked pictures on the web.
