lack of NJ Events

Hi, my wife and I are still new to the LS and are thinking a good way to meet other like minded people is either at a house party or a meet-n-greet. The problem is that I am sure there are some out there but after looking at various servers such as yahoo, google even SLS groups I dont see too many parties or meet-n-greets. Am I missing something here or is it just the slow time of the year? Either way we can still go to clubs in Philly or NYC but we would perfer to stay closer to home. BTW, I am not looking to have anyone spoon feed us (as mentioned in an earlier thread) just maybe get some comments from our NJ contingent.

Not all the parties are listed online either. Some are word of mouth or just private. You seem to have hit all the major servers looking for a party so you don't need spoon feeding There are only so many parties at any given time in a given area.

You may have to join a group or two (online or offline) and see if you get invited to a party that isn't listed.

Not sure quite where in Central Jersey you are located but we have attended and met quite a few people that attend regular m&gs in Jersey. The SLS events section is a good starting ground plus many of the group events might be private to group members so you may want to check out and adding yourself to some of the local groups near you in the groups sextion (Yes I know I spelled that correctly)
