Annoying Pics on Profiles?

When we're browsing through profiles, I see profiles with only one particular type of picture over and over or just one picture that gives me no clue of what someone looks like. I understand everyone wants to be discreet. However, I have to get an idea of what the total package is like, not just an ass. Don't get me wrong I like a nice ass, but I have to be attracted to the entire package. And, the latest one I found was a chin, with a neck, and the very top of a woman's chest.

What pictures have you seen that were annoying on a profile?

We have been thinking of printing out a bunch of dick and close up pussy pictures and putting them on our bulletin board at the club with the caption, "Is This You?"

All the close up shot does is make the person look like that part. You post a close up dick pic, oh well.

After having our kids hit us with our ad, we decided that pictures were just a bit too far, for a couple that appreciates discretion. So we often think what it must be like for the genital shots to show up in the Board (Corporate not Dart!) room or on the coffee table for a conversation with the kids!

While we both appreciate and enjoy porn, having genital shots in a profile that professes to require discretion is a bit of an oxymoron.

How many people actually appreciate the crotch shots?

OK, I admit it, that would probably work for me.

I'll have to admit though, the one that annoys me the most is all the bent over ass pictures. I like a nice ass, but frankly, most of the ass pics I see on profiles are not all that nice.

I think the notion of discretion is that there are often times no face pictures posted on ads. So a boob or dick shot in many instances is much more discreet (because seriously, how many people can id a person by those things without already knowing them? lol ) than posting their face.

The 'down on all fours' shot is a bit of a peeve of mine...a variation is the just bent at the waist where the panties ride up into the crack...there are ways to do discreet shots without showing your face and not just seeing asses. lol

Since we started, when people would contact us and want to "swap pics" we ran into everything everyone else has.. so we came up with a few simple things we write.. and in fact have it on a few of our profiles..

Close ups of cocks and other body parts are fine, but they do nothing to help us find you in a public setting, unless you plan on walking around with it hanging out..

Where we lived when we started there were no clubs, so everything was done privately, and we often met at a restuarant, or hell outside a pub at the mall.. Nothing like playing Whos Who, when all you have are GROIN SHOTS..

Okay, I confess to being one of those folks with an ass shot in my profile. BUT (pun intended) my ass is covered and it's not the only pic. It's the same pic as my avatar here. The rest are PG rated full body shots of just me or both of us. I try really hard to get creative about obscuring faces (necessary for Mr. Sweet's job). The only other pic that's not full body is of my legs.

As for crotch shots, we don't have any of those even in our private pics. I figure anyone we're actually interested in playing with will get to see that in person if all goes well. And yes, those pics bug me, too.

With a little prior planning you can do a full body shot while still being discreet without having to zoom in on that particular body part.

Wedding pictures (much more common before everyone switched to digital cameras).

ANY genitalia shots. I have no idea what those are suppose to do for me. I suppose for females it can help show penis size, but I am assuming you have the parts, I've seen more than my share of them, I don't need to see yours up close in poor lighting. I've never been in a situation where I found a woman physically attractive to have sex with them and then said 'oh wait, look at that vagina, no sorry I can't do this'.

Party shots. Ok so you have these friends at a party, maybe a swingers party, great, which one is you? LL was big on this, sometimes you would have to figure out who was the one person in all the party shots to figure out who's profile it was.

Clutter in the shot. Yes you took this picture of you trying to look all sexy. Perhaps you shouldn't have done so with the dirty plates on the table and laundry all over the floor. Maybe that sink of dirty dishes wasn't the best backdrop.

Web cam shots. No one looks good in the glow of a monitor, and even less so in a fuzzy low res picture.

The obvious 'old' picture. Sometimes you can just tell by looking at a picture its old. I'm not even sure how I know, but I do. Sometimes its obviously old because is scanned, but I think also just the subtle changes in hairstyles and clothes can date it even if you can't describe why that picture looks so 1996. Using outdated pictures are no different than lying in your profile. Just don't do it, I'm almost 40 now, I don't show pictures we used when I was 30 and just started to swing, hell we don't use last years.

These are all pictures I've commonly seen, there are other gems like having children in them, but luckily those are far rarer.

Yeah, that's definately a big red flag. If there are no full length pics, we figure they are hiding something. If the only pics are close ups of their face, it's a bad sign.

On the other side of the coin, the pics we WANT to see are shots of them playing with other people. Are they a couple? Do they really play? Play pics are worth a thousand words.

As for "cock shots", a lot of women we know like seeing them as part of the mix. (Play pics of oral sex work pretty good.) A lot of women like to see a "no shirt" 3/4 length shot of the guys, too.

Wedding Pictures - my current avatar here is from one of our wedding photos ......


A couple of months ago we had a couple that felt the need to email us their pictures (I wish people would get the hang of the private pictures feature on SLS - I've started sending out complete directions for how to use it), anyway the picture they sent us was of the wife with their kid... then a seperate picture of the husband by himself. Um, no thanks.

Hell I was lucky to get the photo I have now up. I'm not a computer guru and find that getting a photo on this site is not that easy. I don't understand all that size crap or how to redo a pic that fits. The pic is a real pic of me and when I get better with it I will post a better pic of me and my lady.

I usally use the history feature to check out who Mrs.fun was checking out or doing the day before. This girls profile I was just gauking at this morning is not really annoying. (I hate the bathroom mirror shots) but its funny as hell...
