its been two days and i can't email on SLS

is this normal after being a free member for a few days? I keep getting this screen when i try to send mail to anybody.

"You appear to be a new user or your account is waiting to be approved.
Accounts are usually approved within 30 minutes.
Once your account has been approved, you'll be able to send mail."

i haven't gotten any mail either. earlier today i added a pic but it was approved. i haven't edited my profile since i added the pic. how long before you aren't new anymore and can send mail?

Since it is a problem with SLS you probably need to contact their webmaster/owner to find out the problem. That would be the best way to fix something with their site.

No idea how long they take to do things. I believe there is a link on the site (SLS) to contact the webmaster. One thing I would suggest is to check to see how much info you put in your profile. Most of the time profiles are approved by other members but if there was an issue with your profile (either not enough info or something that caused someone to have a red flag when they went to approve it) it would have been sent for review by a staff member. When this happens it would take longer to get approved. So I would suggest taking a look at that first and then contacting the webmaster.

I know free members are limited to like five emails a day... maybe you've hit your limit?

They have been having some server or bandwidth issues lately that distracted "the staff". If you're not in a hurry, I think things will settle down to normal soon. If you're anxious to get started, ring someone's bell but remember free accounts are last in line for service.

it seems to be working today. i had been approved and not sent any emails. i got a couple email today too so it looks good
