Yes good point Julie I should have added checking out 'any' site before you pay. And as for being on a site for years before paying a cent, the same can be said about AFF free memberships. As long as your profile is popular enough, you can view all the profiles you need to view and contact several people a day before they cut you off. Good advice...all the cheapos like me out there can swing for free!

We did AFF for a while with good results; we did Lifestyle Lounge for 6 months and enjoyed it's members but found most were more mid west located but we did meet a great couple from there while in Desire cancun.

But we've been extremely pleased with swinglifestyle.com.

We are a part of AFF, SLS, and BSP (Bisexualplayground)....all have proven "fruitful" in one way or another.....heck, even okcupid has brought Babygirl's "girlfriend" into our lives.... just depends on who you are, where you are, and how intent you are in finding someone...and having super-high standards with regards to looks (over personality) puts a bit of a hinderance on your results.

Your mileage may vary....

We've pretty much been with Swappernet since day one (8 years now) and have found it works well for us. I think mostly that it has a lot of Indiana couples using it. We've found all the sites to have some regional weighting. For instance, we've used Lifestyle Lounge for going to Vegas or Desire. Certainly check them out before you commit to lots of dollars.

Also consider how you wish to use the site. Are you looking for playmates that travel and organize events? SDC and Lifestyle Lounge are two good ones.

We primarily like parties and travel, so we like the Events section at SLS, SDC and Lifestyle Lounge.

We cancelled AFF and swappernet, because they didn't give us what we wanted.

To each their own.

Couldnt agree more, but would add one more point..

Use the free trail period , And I mean use it, with AFF for example, during the first few hours you can pull open profiles, that once you sign out and sign back in you cant the restriction is in place for free members..

And when I say use the free trail, I mean as in to locate the people in the area you are comfortable playing in.. ( Some folks feel comfortable shopping close to home, others want to travel, for fear of being recognised).. If there are 4 people in the area you are looking at.. forget the site and try another..

There are plenty out there..

We have been members of SLS, PS, and WG. In some respects, all of the sites have the same limitations. First of all, Its hard to find compatible local couples, say within 10 miles of your home andeasily establish 4-way attraction.

Usually, you end up communicationg with just the husband, who has a pic viewing habit, and when you ask about whether or not a quick couple4couple phone call is possible, you never hear from "them" again. We are beginning to think that their are a lot of husbands putting up pics of their wives without her knowledge. Time consuming TYPING is not swinging!

We have been swinging over 10 years and most of our experience has been at the on-prems where you can mingle and TALK to many couples and reach out and TOUCH others, do some frisky dancing, and go upstairs to the play rooms and have 1000 times more fun than anything you can do with a keyboard and computer monitor.

We have tried out a lot of sites, but we are only paid members of SLS and Swappernet. Swappernet is the site we have had the most success with because of the party invite system they have and it is more popular in our area. We think that both sites are great and each one has things we like and dislike. SLS has been working on a lot of new features lately that has improved their site and we will be using it more often.

We tried LoveVoodoo and really liked the site and features they offered, but there just weren't enough members in our area to continue as paid members. It's been awhile and we have talked about checking it out again to see if that has changed.

Definitely take advantage of the free trials most of the sites offer, but sometimes it is hard to get a real feel for a site because of the restrictions that most of them have. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and pay for a membership to see everything a site has to offer.

Because of the rampant fakery and deception on some of these so called 'swinger' sites the level of distrust towards trial members is high. We like this site best because you can discuss swinging honestly and the emphasis isnt on 'finding a date'. Also, some of the sites have been exposed as inflating their membership in order to hoodwink trial members into signing up. Thank goodness for Rip Off Report
