Swing Lifestyle Wont Take Our Damn Money

We have been on Swing Lifestyle for quite a while. Never had a problem and love the site. This year when our subscription ran out we decided to save a few bucks and just become lifetime members.

We have tried to pay through CCbilling through Swing Lifestyle, and to no avail we cant.

The web page always says when we hit submit THE WEB PAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE

. We tried everything from letting down our firewall to contacting Swing Lifestyle billing, Via e- mail to their billing dept.. The e-mail has been unanswered now a while

WTF you would think that is a priority.

We have been at this for over a week, so this morning I called ccbill on the phone. They say to clear all cookies and such. We use I.E. and have cleared everything including history and passwords, everything.

Are we the only ones with this problem ?

It seems they would let us pay over the phone through credit card or a check card.

If any one is out there from Swing Lifestyle moderation, could you tell them there is someone at the door, with a pile of money in his hand. MRMRSFUN @Swing Lifestyle

Its cold out here and we want back in PLEASE

We had a major issue with our profile early on. It took them almost two weeks to answer our emails and fix the issue. I wonder if they do not have the staff for the volume of customers.

Oh, no!!! I hope they get back to you soon. If we had a key to that danged door, we'd be happy open it up for ya' . . .

In the meantime, try using body heat to keep warm.

CCBill does have phone and mail-in billing, or at least they used to. I don't know if Swing Lifestyle uses those options.

That is highly likely. The site was started by one couple and they are still the primary ones doing most of the work. I know they have hired a few people (no idea how many at this point) to do various things.

I'll shoot this thread over to the owner and see if I can't help you get an answer.

Oddly enough, when I was using the Swing Lifestyle chat, somebody asked for a good resources to learn about swinging. I said "Oh, check out the Swingers Board at www.swingersboard.com". The chat client shot back "Please do not mention our competitors. Your text will be edited."

Didn't really consider SB a competitor to Swing Lifestyle.

LOL it's not, but they won't let you put any links in there I don't believe.... same thing with the profiles.

Thanks julie, I have cooled off a bit since this morning.

The guy on ccbilling was rude earlier. I called again just now, and the new guy said they have been down for 3 weeks. Keep trying ? The pay over the phone is for a 900 # on your phone bill, for a short time registration that we can see. ccbilling help desk is poor.

It was a bad beginning of the day for me, didn't mean to cuss.

Ill mail them again and give an apology for behaving like a d*** head

Stubbed my pinky toe and ripped my nail off this morning, before I posted.

Its been a bummer, we are seeing so many new faces on Swing Lifestyle. 5 mails and a few profile searches a day are not enough.

I thought they had other billing options in the past. Don't know about now. We had to block CCbill because of a teenager several years ago.

It probably detected the fact that you used a .com...if you would have put spaces or used an alternate character like a #%$&* it may not have had a spaz on you.

I also think they search for keywords in the profile...like Yahoo.

Also...fun4ds....that sucks that they won't take your money....I know the feeling...I got it in Best Buy when I went in to buy a laptop last year. It was that sense of , 'if I didn't have the money burning a hole in my pocket and know what I wanted...I would be swarmed by sales people...but since I do, I'm not

We had the same problem at BestBuy when we tried to buy a video camera. We finally went across the street to HH Gregg where they were more than happy to sell us the exact model we wanted for a lower price.

That's exactly why Mr. Sweet ended up getting my laptop at Circuit City while he was a away on business.

I can't speak for Julie, but I wasn't suggesting that you find another site. I was sympathizing with Julie's and your plight of not being able to receive satisfactory customer service. I guess it was a bit of a threadnap.

And again, I can't speak for the others, but I got that you aren't upset with Swing Lifestyle, just the cc billing. I woudn't feel too badly about venting your frustrations here. That's one of the things I love about message boards--you're among friends.
