Pictures that turn you off!

I hate blue tooths.

I see them around and really dislike them and just saw one in a profile picture.

Go figure.

Saw that cell phone thing with a picture of a couple together and the guy had it in his ear.

Hate bad teeth too. I understand if one is missing, but a mouthful of decay?

Like many others here we volunteer to approve pictures and profiles on SLS as well. As long as its legal and within SLS standards we approve it, all the while shaking our heads and saying to ourselves, "its your profile dude....good luck".

As far as us, we prefer to see full body shots. Face pics aren't necessary. The faces can be blurred but a full body pic gives us some idea if your along the lines of what we are looking for. We have face pics that we have in our private folder that we will open up if there is an interest. We have no personal folder showing us doing the nasty because we feel they are just not necessary in order for you to make a judgement if you are interested in us or not. Its a dating site, not a porno site.

We just received a key from a couple that had posted a pic of themselves with all three of their teenage kids. Yikes!! I got in touch with site admin at once, and they'd deleted it within half an hour of me seeing it. Now, what are the odds that we would want to meet up, let alone hook up, with a couple that showed such a stunning lack of judgement?
Oh and the crotch shots- dear lord. If they don't scare me they disgust me. And a woman has so many more attractive angles than that between her legs. And what does one learn from an upended ass, aside from, well, she's got a nice ass? I find those shots particularly creepy, for some reason. Some ass shots are very tasteful and actually convey personality, but the ass sticking out of a hot tub? Ummmm no.
Public pics of the people, faces optional, preferably clothed (although I must admit that I use a discreet rear view of my naked hubby on a couple of sites because it IS his preferred state of dress) get our attention. Extra points for style.

The pics are your doorway. If they are tasteless, you click your mouse and leave.

I do agree that they should be approved, tells you who you are dealing with.

I agree with alot of the things others have said:

1) No glaring closeups of your private parts - I'm much more interested in the person as a whole. And it works for me to have something left to the imagination.

2) Pictures taken using the camera & mirror trick - those that are very contrived, seeing a person standing there, facing the mirror, camera in hand, naked, trying to look sexy, failing miserably - and "boom" this huge camera flash reflecting in the picture.

3) Clean up your bedroom before you take the picture. A huge pile of dirty clothes in the background just doesn't work for me.

4) Couple profiles that show only one or the other.... Got something/someone to hide?

5) Pictures taken to show off your wealth. One picture of your Harley is cool - maybe even two - but I don't want to see dozens of your Harley, your boat, your truck and your wife in 25 different outfits. I think the KISS principle should apply. Keep pictures tasteful, simple and CURRENT

Just my humble opinion.
