The count became 10,000 today.

I will remind you all that this is not actually a thirty-day count. This number has incremented for almost two years.

Ours had hovered in the 8000's for some time. I noticed that the last time I changed our main picture, a little over a month ago, the number started creeping up. I thought it was because it was a better picture, and that the number would level off. But now it's at 9808 and keeps going up by a few 10's per day. I guess it's cumulative, as others have said.

I would agree that it is cumulative. We are up to 9511 after only 16 months...not too bad I guess

Yep, accumulative, cause now it's 2,188. I am a systems manager for a living, and it just drives me nuts when they don't fix things like this!

Easy programming change to at least say "total views", if they can't get it to count right for 30 days!

I doubt if this figure really corresponds to the last 30 days

That was in May of 2009. This morning, the count is now up to 17,079. The year 2010 has been very active for pervs. Am I allowed to say that it has been perverse? Or should I say perverted? Anyway, our S L S account was "checked out" nearly five-hundred times this month.

Have to say I really don't even bother to look at this number.

There are so many different reasons why someone clicks on your profile, just seems like a really hollow number that only measures exposure to some degree.

I suppose some of you who have been around longer could chart it in a way and play around with your main picture to see how much that changes views. But then, to really ascertain that you would also have to certify that all the other variables are staying the same, such as forum activity or whatever other methods your profile gets "advertised".

I don't even know where to look this number up on this site, but on a couple of other sites, I have followed it only to prove a theory about pics. When we have pics of her up, the pervs go way up. When we have pics of him up, pervs drop off to nearly zero. So much for the folks who complain about there not being pics of the male half on profiles.....

Here's an update, 17,874 since August of 2009. Considering there are so few nudes I am quite surprised. We're quite rural here too. I think face pics makes a difference too.

19478 in last 30 days on Swing Lifestyle. 13207 since 11/08 on AltPlayGround (APG much smaller user base) APG has a menu item that shows profiles with new pictures, so as soon as new pics are put on there's an increase in profile views...pervs!!!!, lol.

Keep in-mind that at SwingLifeStyle this number is not really the number of views your profile received within a month's period. It is, actually, the number of views since you signed up or since October of 2008, when the Webmaster renovated the counting system, whichever is the newer.

A recommendation: if you make a request for a profile review at Couples Profile Reviews, many more members are likely to see it.
