good times just helped me with a test on Swing Lifestyle and apparently I'm wrong; people who have received mail from us CANNOT open our profile, even if they are on our Friends List and have access to our Private Pics.

We joined this site on the recommendation of friends. Sad to say after 2 1/2 years we have only met 5 couples from Swing Lifestyle and we contacted them. Others we have contacted who say they are looking for the same things as ourselves, usually don't reply to emails we send them. WTF You would think that after being viewed over 8,500 times people would reach out a little more often. We like the Swing Lifestyle site, but find there are a lot of wanna bees and pervs.

You know, we know exactly how you feel. We primarily use Swing Lifestyle to coordinate and communicate with those we already know. We have yet to actually meet somebody for the first time on Swing Lifestyle.

Everytime we send an e-mail to somebody on Swing Lifestyle expressing an interest, we usually get no reply at all. Twice we've gotten a "Sorry, not interested" (which is fine), but it's when they don't even both to reply that grabs my goat.

We've only met one couple strictly off Swing Lifestyle ourselves. Everyone else we've met at a meet & greet or parties. We don't get a whole lot of email on there, but when we get one, we always respond. We haven't tried sending the initial mails ourselves, though. One of these days . . . Either way, I don't pay much attention to the number of views.

Welcome to the board. I saw that you posted a request for a profile review over in the other thread, so I went ahead and gave you one there. Keep in mind that a lot of people are just profile surfing, they may not even live anywhere near you.

Not sure what we're doing differently, but we joined Swing Lifestyle the last day of Nov 2006, and according to the counter we have 24,943 hits since we joined. (The counter reads "within the last 30 days" but in fact it's a running count since we joined.) In that time we've met several dozen couples, many single guys, even a few single women. Swing Lifestyle had been pretty good for us. Along with AFF, it's pretty much the only way we meet new people.

We agree with "two42 lovers". We have 2473 and have been on a little less then 2 months. We think that is actually the total count since we joined.

I did notice on one of the Swing Lifestyle boards that one of their moderators said the total is in fact a running total. If you view your profile under the "Old View" option, it says "Viewed XXXX times total".

They said it is one of the things on their list to fix.

I've had a pitiful 109 additional views between today and 3/25. Wow, we must be the most boring couple in NE Pennsylvania...
